Aransas Bay Inn & Suites Corpus Christi by OYO

room had roaches in both rooms & bathroom, & they were stingy with the towels. pool was okay.

Lobby at check in was clean. When checked in let them know we had a service dog & got charged pet fee (fine whatever we overlooked that). Hand us only one key when we got the 2 bdrm appt room because we had 4 people all together. Had to ask for another key. Get to room, check everything out. Floors hadn’t been fully cleaned as in fully swept nor mopped. Check towels- only have 1 hand towel, 2 wash cloths, 2 towels. Go to front desk ask for more. Get 1 more towel 1 hand towel. Had no more wash cloths or any other towels you give so the said. Went to try out there pool as looked clean & of course service dog was with husband. Well wasn’t in there long before before desk clerk comes out throwing a fit saying dog can’t be in pool area. Now when you check in theres a sign on their desk saying can’t leave dog in room alone. Now this is 2nd strike for us here knowing our dog is a service dog. Husband at this point was furious & wanted to check into another hotel but unfortunately most was already booked up close by. Only stayed one more night and then we left elsewhere for our trip.

Unfriendly, unaccomadating front staff, dirty rooms, dead cockroaches, rotted unusable bbq pits, filthy front door that's hard to open, no mirror in the bathroom.

Good room for a good price. No frills. Small ketchup packet shampoo/conditioner lotion and bar of soap. But all sufficient.

Clean Room,

The room was clean when we arrived. Check-in was quick amd easy. Nice swimming pool. The rooms were very cool.

I would not recommend this hotel.

I didn't get to stay because they told me I didn't have a reservation

On one of our stays we ended our trip early due to my own personal medical issue. We left before checkout time and they wouldn't refund the night we weren't staying... We usually stay with them when we stay in Aransas Pass. I just wished they would have showed some understanding for the situation and refunded the night we couldn't stay.

Convenient

The shower was broken, the staff is nice except for one person.

Good for the price. Pretty clean but very small towels. The worst thing was the the air conditioning unit. It would sometimes start blowing very weird smelling air, and sometimes the room would feel kind of muggy.

Sheets had stains on them. Has to go ask for clean ones. Did not supply enough toilet paper. Only had one roll in the bathroom.

The property was close that we could travel from port a and back and then Rockport and back. I didn’t like the roaches in my room. The lack of towels, maid services came for new towels but never took out the trash or even leave behind more trash bags. Parking was not the best, could not park in front of my own room.

Room was not cleaned , no toilet paper, refrigerator dirty, bathroom had hair. Not a pleasant stay.

From the time I arrived till I left the experience was excellent. The room was clean and the beds were as great as Hampton Inn or La Quenta. The cost was much lower. The staff was kind and helpful! Willing to stay again if I'm back in that area The door was difficult for me to open

I didn't like that I got charged twice because there computer wasn't updated supposedly

We ended up having to leave because of medical reasons on our 2nd day before checkout and they wouldn't refund the 2nd night. I ended up in the hospital. We feel like, because we are frequent guests that they should have been more understanding and refunded the 2nd night charges.
