Budgetel Inns & Suites - Atlanta Galleria Stadium

The hotel was supposedly being renovated so there was building materials in the lobby and the whole area was cluttered. There were holes in the ceiling of the hallways exposing the utilities. The room had water standing on top of the flooring in half of the room. The headboard for the bed was not attached. The bed felt like all the springs had collapsed and it had come the trash dump because it was so worn out. The whole hotel smelled bad. The pool was drained and appeared it had not had water in it for a long time. The only person I saw working at the hotel was not friendly. Asked about a local taxi service and was told to google it. Went to check out and nobody was found so I just left. Would not recommend this hotel. 30 years ago it may have been a nice hotel but now it needs to be demolished

There were several dilapidated beds in the lobby due to a remodeling project that were in similar to the ones in our room. We had one tiny bar of soap, two very small towels and one wash rag to share. No plastic glasses or other amenities. In spite of the location in the battery and being surrounded by beautiful hotels and restaurants, this one had counter-to-ceiling plexiglass at the desk. The attendant was friendly enough and it's location was great (walking distance to the stadium), but this place was proof that if things seem too good to be true... they probably are.

When I checked in the person was nice but not very customer centric. When the key card didn’t work on second day I had to wait for 20 minutes as no one at office and no one knew where the person was. Even the pizza delivery guy gave up after about 15 minutes. Check out at 080o no one to be found again so after 15 minutes I thre the key card in the office and left. Couldn’t get a receipt. The room was not very clean. The floor was gritty, hallway was very dirty with construction dust and materials. The room also was in my opinion in violation of several safety and building codes. Example, Smoke detector was missing and wires hanging from wall. Several wall receptacles were missing the covers. Frankly, I was shocked after seeing all these violations and general disregard for everything. I asked if I could cancel second night and told no and because it was prepaid and would have to contact you, Expedia. Bottom line, I would a partial refund for this stay. Also, I trusted Expedia was a trustworthy, reputable company that had done some research or vetting of those who it promotes on their site. Apparently that is not true. I have taken pictures of the items I listed. You have my contact information. You should have someone visit this place.

Worst place to stay!

Hotel and rooms aren't like what you see on the website

The worst place ever. Rooms are dirty and there are bed bugs. Lobby looks like a tornado hit it. Toilet was broken and the AC didn't work. Staff was very uncooperative. Was told check in was at 3pm at to come then and rooms would be ready come back at 4:30 amd overheard them talking to the person cleaning the rooms on the phone saying the rooms were not clean and didn't care that we were there and it wasnt their problem. This place needs to be shut down immediately. Woke up in the middle of the night to a car alarm going off and someone breaking into someone's car luckily it wasnt ours.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!! There was no breakfast. The room was HORRIBLE!!! The lobby, elevator, and hallway were all filthy. The room had no trash can, the air conditioner leaked water all over the floor, and the beds made me think of bedbugs. The guy at the reception area wasn't there when we got there. We had to wait about 15 minutes. Once we got the room key and went to the fourth floor, the key didn't work. We went back downstairs, and once again, the guy was gone. We had to wait outside in the rain until he came back. That was about 20-25 minutes. I would REALLY appreciate a refund for this horrible experience. I would NOT recommend this to ANYONE!!

The room could've been better. I seen, they try to repaint the walls and the AC was okay but too high and the amounts I paid for the room. I didn't get the accommodation and the customer service I expected. Being next to the brand new Atlanta Braves stadium.
