Ellis Hotel, Atlanta, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott

I had a really pleasant stay at Hotel Ellis! Every staff member I interacted with was super friendly. I had aa premium room and it was a great size and super comfortable. The location was also very walkable to nearby restaurants, convenience stores, and transit spots.

The Staff was exceptional, location was great for the event I attended. Softness on the bed I loved and walking distant from restaurants The area for valet.

Bad

While the staff was stellar especially, Jamie who works in the coffee shop, the management is sorely lacking. Their deal with Expedia promised a $ 15 credit for incidentals of which they only credited me $ 5 when I spent $ 25. There is an excessive amount of competition in the immediate area to even consider a return visit!

We stayed here for a concert last weekend. The hotel staff was very kind and attentive. Our room was stocked and clean and had the best smelling complimentary bath products ever. I’d happily stay here again. Easy walk to restaurants, centennial park, State Farm arena etc. I highly recommend the Ellis.

The room was clean, and the staff was very helpful. It's nice that they have Starbucks coffee downstairs in the mornings. There are several great restaurants within walking distance of the Ellis, including a great brewpub just across the street and down the hill. It is also within easy walking distance of State Farm arena if you're going to an event there.

Extremely friendly staff, they ran out of body wash which was frustrating, but other than that, great budget hotel, great location. About a 10 minute walk to the aquarium,

Very dated and needs a renovation. Mid level property - at best. Even the don't entrance is unclear.

The hotel is long overdue for renovations. I barely slept. The toilet made a loud noise all night.

Great location near the Olympic park and great staff. Walter at the reception and everyone was just so friendly and helpful!

The hotel was small, but clean and attractive. My room was extremely quiet, which was a plus. I had a room that faced an adjacent building, so natural light was limited and my in-room lighting was dim. Any staff members I dealt with were very attentive and nice, particularly Izzy at check in. It was nice enough but not the boutique hotel I thought I was getting.

Clean and spacious rooms. Front desk and valet staff very friendly and professional.
