Everyone was friendly and helpful. The valet always got out car quickly. Had a very pleasant stay for our first time in Atlanta.

There’s some maintenance issues in the hotel, the toilet felt like it was going to come off the floor

dirty room, loose locks on front door, outdated kitchen

Perfect!! EVERYTHING PERFECT! VERY NICE HOTEL WITH A GREAT STAFF.

The hotel has been tastefully updated with modern amenities. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. This hotel is pet friendly, but there is no where on the property for the pets to walk or potty. We had a junior suite with a kitchen. There was only one plate, one knife, and two glasses. I would have thought a room with a kitchen would have come stocked with kitchenware. Valet was great and very responsive. The onsite coffee shop is a nice perk.

The bedroom was fine (a bit cramped), although had no fridge (there was an empty space where it should have been). The food in the restaurant was very good.

Unfortunately, we experienced a few issues during our stay. After checking into our first room, we discovered that neither the TV nor the telephone worked. We notified the front desk, and I will say the staff responded quickly and professionally by immediately moving us to another room. In the second room, the illuminated mirror did not work due to what appeared to be a faulty light switch or electrical short. While not a major issue, it was another maintenance concern that should have been caught before the room was assigned. My biggest concern was the area outside the hotel after dark. Each time I went outside, I was approached by homeless individuals asking for money or assistance. They tended to congregate in the darker areas near the front entrance. While they did not appear threatening and were generally harmless, their presence could make some guests feel uncomfortable or uneasy. I believe the hotel should do a better job of monitoring the entrance area to help guests feel more secure. Overall, the property has a lot of potential and the staff was responsive, but the maintenance issues and lack of control around the front entrance detracted from what could have been an excellent stay.

Everything was great! We did have a funny little hiccup with our room, but Trevor was an amazing help and took great care of us. This hotel has a really cool view of the city. Staff was polite and kind. There is a great draft house across the street called PDH (Publik Draft House). Great food and awesome service.

The cleanliness of the hotel

Very historic and vibey. NB: the deal listed on hotels.com was not entirely accurate; it said free breakfast, plus a one-time 20% discount at hotel restaurant. What it was, was a $35 credit every day towards breakfast at the restaurant (Livingston’s). So yeah, that easily covered breakfast, and it’s not a huge deal or a big difference. But for consistency’s sake, it would be nice to have the hotels.com offer match what you get at the hotel. Anyway, Thembela and the front desk staff were great. Great place to stay. RIGHT BY A MARTA STATION TOO! Very convenient. Highly recommend.

Location. I went to a concert at the Fox.

Disappointed that the rooftop was closed because we had made plans to hang by the pool and was not notified at booking. Room had some non working outlets and lights and fridge leaked.
