Hyatt House Denver Aurora Anschutz Medical Campus

Maintenance on the facility was a little bit lacking. We've stayed there twice recently. The first time, the electronic blinds in the room were completely non functional. The second time, they were function but a very complicated control system that was not intuitive and there were no instructions on how to use them. The door lock to the bathroom was broken, but they did have maintenance fix that right away. Also the air conditioning vent in the hallway was making a low, irritating noise.

Everything about this property was great! The front desk staff are very kind and accommodating. The housekeeping staff were very friendly. Security at night in lobby, bar and parking lot. Also, very friendly and visible. Close to the hospital. Coffee and food nearby. You can walk to the hospital from this hotel. They offer a hospital rate. I highly recommend this hotel!

Property was conveniently located and had a helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Good selection of (free/included) breakfast foods.

It was what we expected. Nothing to complain about.

It was a good breakfast. The area was clean and well maintained. I wasn’t a fan of people being in the area with their dogs (I had not taken my allergy medicine, I just didn’t expect it).

The room itself was fine, but the view was horrible, and the bed was uncomfortable. It was too soft and there were divots where previous guests had slept. House keeping was inconsistent as to days and times they would or wouldn't arrive to clean. The location is okay if you have a rental car and don't mind driving 20-30 minutes to attractions in Denver. However, the hospital is across the street and you will hear ambulance sirens all night long and be confronted with families who are facing serious hospital/health needs all day. All in all, it was a decent deal. The included morning breakfast was a nice way to start each day. Having said that, if the need to stay in the Denver area arose again in the future, I would probably choose a different hotel.

The location was ideal, the staff was friendly and professional. The hotel was clean and accommodating.

Newer hotel with bar & restaurant. Very close to UC Health hospital which was our reson to stay. Very clean, quite too. Short walk to UC Hospital. Plus they have free shuttle to hospital if needed. Great breakfast.

Expedia didn’t book the hotel after we booked months in ahead. We found out when trying to check in and there were no rooms with two beds left like we booked. They had one room left, luckily, and we took it, with one king bed only. The hotel had no record of the booking. The manager had to make a new one. I messaged Expedia and they were very hesitant to help. Kept pushing me back to the hotel that couldn’t help because they were full. I kept saying that and had to demand that they look into helping me. So the person finally opened a ticket for me. I didn’t get a call back until day 3 of our trip. By this point I didn’t want to try and change hotels, almost half way into our trip. We were settled in and doing the best with what we had.

Great location for my son’s lacrosse tournament. Free breakfast was great. Pillows were pretty flat

Parking wasn't ideal for those with mobility issues. And the island in the kitchen had trim pulled off and sticking out. Overall it was a good deal for the money and we’d stay again.

Pros: The beds are comfortable and everything looked and felt clean. Not the worst hotel I've ever stayed at but not great either. We will be staying in hotels near the hospital several times in the coming months and have no plans to come back to this one.
