Arrived at the hotel to check in. The doors were locked, phones disconnected, and website links broken. Someone from the area walking by informed us that the hotel had apparently closed down. We were left stranded in Baltimore without a place to stay and hand to find friends to stay with at the last minute. Words cannot express how remotely not okay this is. The hotel doesn't even exist anymore supposedly.

Old but clean .there is no elevator the steps were a bit much, but very friendly and great location .. street parking free on weekends .

This place was built in 1880. Has potential to be a unique and special experience. But instead carpet is frayed, wallpaper is peeling off the walls, woodwork is painted and chipping, and electricity is scary. Although I understand, it would be nice if they had an elevator. The Absence of parking is a problem also.

It was excellent. I stayed here prior and left a very important necklace. When I returned, my necklace was at the front desk waiting on me. I was so grateful and I would definitely return and recommend to others. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Key didn’t work in outdated door knob lock had to get three different keys before the clerk used her master, blood splatter on the bed room wall never spent the night

Really interesting building and view. Convenient to the Lyric Theater. But I was quite cold, it being March, and didn’t see a way to raise the temperature. But the price was right, and the room was huge.

I like the extra space in the suite. What I don’t like is that they should not put “breakfast included” on the Expedia. Because their “breakfast is only available at 10am and it was just granola bars.....

Comfortable place that lets one relax. The ‘home feel’ provides a no-frill no-fuss kind stay where privacy is respected. Good option if you want to get away from the hype and sterile glamour of downtown hotels (e.g. Hyatt, Marriott, etc) like that the rooms aren’t clinical bright in their decor and is historic. Quirks and one of a kind rooms are a plus for me.

I loved the staff I was not a fan of the lack of an elevator

The bed was very comfortable.

Love this hotel it's very quaint and affordable. My only issue this stay was the lady at the front desk her attitude left much to be desired.
-
Great choice on a budget. Hotel is old and worn down but room was clean. I really liked the neighborhood for walking around and exploring, a lot more character than the downtown and harbor areas with great food, museums, and other attractions.

Continental breakfast was pretty meager, comfortable bed, but kind of noisy outside, probably because it was a Saturday night.
-
The hotel was historic and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I am happy that I have stayed there and was able to see it but it needs a significant amount of work.

It is not wheel chair acceptable, for those in that situation. Some of the rooms needs to be updated and better clean such as ( paint, I did peak in some of the rooms and they were nice. My room was just ok for the reason I was their for.) People need to know that this property is a walk up, not good for older adults. Very good location to work around and safe area.

People very nice. The room was fine. The price was right, too.
