    Power was out all 3 nights didn’t even wanna here me out for a discount and when i checked in they gave me a room key and didn’t have me pay. So we just left overall horrible

    When we first arrived, the lobby looked nice, but as soon as we walked past it, the entire building smelled strongly of cigarettes. Things only got worse when we got to our room. It was absolutely filthy. There were crumbs everywhere, purple slime on the walls and ceiling, makeup stains on the walls and light fixtures, a disgusting microwave, and a bathroom that looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. Everything was stained and dirty. The sheets had hairs and even pubic hair on them. When we brought this to the manager’s attention, he told us he had personally checked the room and that it was clean, which was clearly not true. We had to ask for fresh sheets and change the bedding ourselves. We didn’t even use the comforter because we didn’t trust that it was clean. I ended up borrowing a broom from a housekeeper and ordering Lysol wipes just so I could clean the room enough to stay there for our four-night trip. About two hours into our first night, the power went out. It remained out for almost three full days and only came back on during our last night. We had no air circulation, had to take cold showers, and all the food we stored in the fridge spoiled. And that’s not even the worst part. Every single night, the building’s fire alarm went off between 1 and 3 a.m., forcing everyone to wake up and evacuate.     The hotel was terrible power went out 3 hours within I checked in and didn’t come back on till the 3rd day at midnight and I paid for 4 nights , had to walk blocks to buy portables to charge my phone , not to mention the hot water was out too.

    The rooms were being fumigated when we showed up then the power went out do to bad weather and you’d think they would have a generator for situations like this nope didn’t care for any of the guest safety or security

    The room had a small sofabed that was dirty, the vinyl peeling off, crumbs and debris under the cushion. The chair had cigarette burn holes in it. The a hallway to my room smelling strongly of marijuana. There was hair and dust on the floor under and around the bed. There was hair on the toilet seat. The room has a kitchenette with no coffee maker, no silverware, no plates, pots, pans, dish towel, dish soap... basically unusable for a person staying unless they bring their entire kitchen with them. There is a penalty fee for early check out. The family in the room down the hall was aggressively screaming at their children. The only place I felt I could sit down that wasn't dirty or damaged was on the edge of the tub. I stayed for 45', and then took the hit on 2 nights stay and drove to the Chicago Hilton Midway, because there was no way I could comfortably stay their any longer.

    We immediately contacted the front office. To their credit, they refunded our stay, and we left the property within an hour of checking in. Overall, the experience was unsettling, and despite the initial clean appearance, the presence of pests made the room unacceptable.

    The bed could use an upgrade per mattress and pillows and frame around bathroom window needs some chrome polish cleaner.

    It is in a very nice location and it is a nice property. I think the rooms could have a better appeal with nice quilt covers or some type of cover not sheet. The pillow cases had stains on them and also providing extra set of pillows for sleeping. Love the flooring! The bathroom adding soap dishes even if you don’t supply toiletries. The price is reasonable and l am glad of that and was a blessing! Just a few things to add but a nice place. Having someone over your head that walked all night not the hotels fault but it was very annoying. Maybe a posting of things to be mindful of!
