Chicago Marriott Southwest at Burr Ridge

they are absolutely amazing, caring, and super helpful. I had an extremely stressful arrival to Chicago, but the entire team went out of their way to check in on me every time I was coming or going. They are so personable and compassionate, and they turned a rough start into a wonderful stay. Highly recommend and I extend my appreciation With much gratitude to all the lovely staff Thank you!! 😊

Fantastic breakfast and service Main pool wasn’t heated

The front desk employee checking us in was extremely rude and cold. Didn’t explain anything. Room was disgustingly dirty- bathroom floor had hairs and dirty footsteps. Room smelled like mold. Absolutely no phone service and wifi was non existent. Elevators wouldn’t work properly. When we checked out earlier than what we paid for, no one asked why, if there’s anything they can do or anything. And anytime I said anything, they said we can’t do anything, you booked through a 3rd party

Loved the location and beauty of the location.

Stayed for one night. Frontdesk staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was pleasantly decorated and the beds were comfy.

This was an amazing location, walking distance to eatery and shopping. I enjoy my stay. The room was cleaned. The staff were awesome very helpful and understanding. Overall, very pleasant. I will visit again.

Good clean hotel, friendly staff, coffee shop and restaurant on site. Surprise parking charge which is annoying. I wouldn’t have minded if I was told before booking. Transparency goes a long way

Our room was outdated and kinda musty smelling like they did a cheap partial update. Way overpriced for what you get. I did love going to the Kohler spa across the street though!!

The hotel seems laid back, wasn’t super busy. They have an indoor pool and jacuzzi which is nice. The jets in the jacuzzi were so powerful though that you could not necessarily sit back. You had to sit towards the edge of the seat because they were shooting the water everywhere to the point where it was even soaking the floor surrounding it. The hotel has a bar/restaurant/coffee bar that offers a limited selection of food. The bartending that was working was new so she was still getting the hang of things, she was nice though. We put on the app we would be arriving at 3 which check in was at 4 so I know there was not guarantee on the room being available which was fine. The ladies working the front desk were nice and said the room was getting a “final inspection” and would be done ready in about 15-20 minutes. Almost 30 minutes later they said the room was good to go. We had asked for extra towels prior to arrival in which the hotel responded they would accommodate, we mentioned it again when we were checking in and they relayed the message to house keeping as they were “finalizing” the room. When we got to the room there were no extra towels, so we had to call for them. The stopper in the bathroom sink was broken and basically just sitting there, and the entertainment stand/shelves/fridge cabinet were covered in dust. Which is all interesting considering the room have a 30 minute final inspection. They brought towels and maintenance came and fixed the sink. Not a bad hotel

Perfectly clean! The staff was beyond courteous, knowledgeable, kind and engaging.

What was disappointing was Marriott no longer provided free bottled water but what was most disappointing was that in front of the hotel and on the property is a HUGE parking lot and Marriott charges to park overnight. Ridiculous.

Only negative I have is that you park in their parking lot which ha alot of spots and they charge you . Doesnt make sense why you pay for parking when you are staying at the hotel.

private, sound proof, felt like a home Bathroom could be a little bit bigger, the outlets were in awkward positions.

Location is good. Breakfast is amazing. Service is the best.
