I loved both pools and the little DJ activity. My favorite part was the front desk staff though. Not only were they funny, they helped me get everything in order. I didn’t like how they preach how the property is smokeless when it’s ashes all over the balcony. I didn’t mind too much though.

When we checked in the young lady helping us was great! After we checked in we went up to the room they assigned us and peoples stuff was already in there. Went down to the front desk, we explained to the young guy what happened and he didn’t even say anything other than asking me for my key and changed the room. Not even a sorry. So we went to the second room and the toilet didn’t work at all. We had to call down again and request maintenance and they said they will send him up and give us $20 meal vouchers which we didn’t even get. So 20 minutes passed and we went back down because no one has came up, and they told us he was actually doing something else and we were next on the list. I completely understand, they were very busy it seemed. The front desk was lacking manners and they seemed they didn’t even want to help with anything. During the night we had multiple people banging on our room door and I called the desk multiple times after 11pm and no one even answered. All around a bad stay and bad attitudes. Unfortunately we will not be staying again.

I wasn’t particularly impressed with several aspects of my stay or with the condition of my room. However, Kayla was an absolute delight. She was professional, friendly, genuinely helpful, and she has a great smile. The hospitality industry needs more people like her. It would be nice to see her climb the corporate ladder.

The lobby is lovely, but the rooms are sorely in need of renovation. There are years of stains on the carpet. Couches and chairs are dingy. We reserved a suite with pull out bed, but no bedding was provided. The front desk told us it would be sent up after my husband inquired in person; it never appeared, so I called down and was told we had to come get it. We got a sheet and blanket but were told there were no pillows. The first night and first morning, we had no hot water. The ice maker on our floor did not work, nor the next several below. The pool was icky. It is nice that towels were provided, however. My husband popped down to the restaurant for a quick bite one evening and was charged 18% gratuity, no problem, but the bartender then informed him that the gratuity didn’t go to him so he needed to tip him as well. The coffee in the morning was good, but we were charged inconsistent prices. We were never informed that parking was included in the incidental hold. Fortunately we asked to be sure before spending an extra $50. The signage all over the lot makes this very unclear. Individually none of the things are dealbreakers, but when added together, it made for a pretty unpleasant experience.

This hotel is a great value. Definitely an older hotel, but recently renovated. The bar downstairs and pool were both high points.
