Room and staff were amazing

What I didn't like: Did not respond quickly to text communication, had to ask for supplies more than once, pillows were super flat and hotel only has one kind of pillow, the walls are thin and you heard people banging around and walking around upstairs, ice only on 2nd floor but water filter for water bottles only in gym on 1st floor, train 2 feet outside your window that ran frequently and early in the morning. Cost $20/day to park.

We came to Des Moines for a little weekend get away, Farmer's Market and some shopping. This hotel was PERFECT for that purpose. It was so nice having the full size fridge to put our Farmer's market goodies in but also just a very roomy and comfortable room! Also, the staff was very accommodating and patient and kind. The free breakfast was AWESOME, especially if you have some dietary needs, delicious and healthy options. I also loved being able to park in the ramp with easy access to the hotel. Very nice place to stay, will definitely stay here again!

By far the nicest “budget” hotel across the board. Shockingly nice and accommodating in comparison to other hotels in the area. BOOK HERE WITH CONFIDENCE!

Room was great. My only issue was I specifically chose this hotel because it had a hot tub. Well that hot tub had MANY floating bugs in it in addition to not having hot water and jets barely blowing. It was highly disappointing considering that was the only reason I chose the hotel.

Great place. Clean and well run.

Bathroom door squeaked horribly because door had previously been broken. Hinges were bent and reinstalled poorly. One of the light switches worked but was broken. Bed was fantastic. Parking nice but pricey. Liked that you needed card to come and go. Breakfast was very nice also.

Rooms are super comfortable and clean with a nice view! Parking is very easy and convenient and location. is close to Everything. One thing that was odd was the breakfast buffet was shut down at 9 am for some reason the employee working it closed without warning. When it's until 930 but thankfully I got breakfast right before which was pretty good. I would definitely stay again.

The place was awesome. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub after a long days travel. We lived the kitchenette for cooking dinner and breakfast was great!

The room was clean and fresh. Large swivel t.v. was a nice feature. Breakfast had a few items you don't often see at hotels.

cried the whole time about.. and we were promised compensation after had to move our family of 5 at 10pm at night which isn't ideal with 3 kids.. We didn't receive and have yet to hear from the GM after emailing him directly. I think this is poor customer service on their end and for that I give it a low rating. When you go somewhere and something like this happens, I think it's fair to feel that there should be action taken right away. It shouldn't take over a week to have someone follow up with you.

Price, breakfast was great and pool was nice! The room had so much scent. Teenagers making noise at night- spring break…

Pet friendly Breakfast was tasty 10/10 will come and stay again!
