Far from Downtown, on the main road (noisy), broken tiles in bathroom, air conditioner loud and did not cool the room much, single-ply toilet paper, no shampoo/conditioner, door lock very difficult to open with actual brass key. Room was clean. Pricepoint was good but not considering the condition. We were disappointed.

The property management is excellent. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I will differently stay there again.

Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly not far from downtown, but the beds were very hard and the pillow is very flat.

Great 1 night stay. Clean. A little dated. Some nearby road noise until about 9pm. Desk staff friendly & helpful & accommodating. I’d stay again.

This room (16) was perfect. We got in late and had an appt the next day and just wanted to sleep after a 7 hr drive. They were accommodating, no extra or hidden charges. The bed, omg soooo comfortable and the pillows, there were so many n so soft..it was like going to grammas house . Thank you for a safe wonderful place. Ill be back to visit instead of buisness and i would choose this hotel hamds down !

I loved the quaint decor, the paneling, it was clean and comfortable. We will plan to stay there the next time we’re in Durango, the end of Sept, this year.

The bed was so old that the springs (yes springs) were digging into my hips while I tried to sleep. I couldn't walk for 2 days after my stay here. As an added bonus there was an air conditioner that kept turning on and off really loudly. The manager charged an old credit card and didn't give me the opportunity to charge my room to a different card, which messed up my finances. The manager called me within an hour of check in wanting to know "when I was checking in". Really? I come to find out he was trying to leave early and ended up leaving my room key outside in the front. Apparently check in is only from 4-5pm. If you try to check in later they leave your key outside. Overall this was a bad experience. I was not happy with management or the room. It was also $200 which is really overpriced for a flea motel.

Late night or very early morning, a pounding like someone knocking on door. Investigated by myself by looking out window, hopefully un noticed by what was making the noise, did not reveal anything. Happened 3 times with each incident not revealing the source. But in that regard, we did notice trash cans knocked over with their contents strewn about. Having witnessed these signs before, we decided that a Bear had visited the area around the motel. The area of where we stayed, is inhabited by wildlife, including Bears, so thankfully, we were not bothered by what apparently happened

Bed was pretty good. Frig and micro worked fine. The door lock was the worst I have ever seen. The metal latch screws were removable with my bare hands. The dead bolt went into a wood hole. No metal reinforcement was used. Didn't feel safe. Before going to bed, I blocked the door from the inside.
