Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Elkhart North

I thought it would have been a good stay with the deal from booking , com I asked for handicapped accessibility. Was placed on 4th floor didn't think nothing about it. Was a bad storm me and my daughter were stuck. No lights no phone and I couldn't leave her in dark waited till morning to get her down stairs . No one checked on us or helped. I carried chair down and daughter scooted down. No compansasion or apologies instead was told if I get reimbursement then it will come out of there checks and refused to call managers. My daughter went to bed in dark hungry

Breakfast was served earlier then time stated - 6 instead of 7AM. It was quite but then again not a lot of people there First BIG problem is that when you look at map it shows that you can pull in with truck/trailer and drive around. This is not true. I almost was unable to get turned around to get out. Had to unhook trailer and re hook up again. They need to state no trailers allowed on site and at entrance to parking lot. Check in was very slow as they were outside and took time to come in to help. Breakfast was not very tasteful in that the food seemed off. Afraid to eat it. Milk and juice sitting on counter not in ice or refrigerators??

Exceptional

The television didn't work well. We couldn't get rid of the CC words or adjust the volume. The breakfast cholces were not good. The food and water for the tea was not hot. We wouldn't stay there again.

Couldn’t get the internet or tv to work so they came up and switched me rooms. I walked into the room they switched me and I couldn’t thought they switched me to a room someone was staying in. Towels all over the bathroom, ironing board out and bed not made. The person had checked out but the room was never cleaned so they had to come back up and switch me a third time to a different room. Finally after almost 3 hours I was able to settle into a room. I would have thought they would have either given me a discount or something but nope still paid full price and had to pack up and switch rooms 3 times.

Rooms were clean Offered breakfast was missing items, syrup inedible ( when asked for)

Checking out, it was a very unpleasant stay. There was not a single good thing about this hotel. Even the elevator was past due on safety inspection. Everything could have been better. The shower barely had enough pressure to get wet with. The microwave burnt my food instead of cooking it. The TV froze and loaded most of the time. The bed sheets were stained, the towels were stained. The room smelled funny.

Location was excellent The pool hasn't worked in who knows how long,grass needs cut,cigarette butts swept up,trash in the little pond needs to be cleaned up and the GREEN water needs drained out. The pictures they use for this place are completely deceiving Radisson might have had something to do with this place 20 years ago but no more
