Beachside Motel

Awesome view

Bed is like sleeping in the floor. Our lights don't work. The tv doesn't work. Our neighbors had us up u til about 3 am and again at 6 am arguing and using profanity. There were no instructions for the pull out bed or where to find any bedding. Heck in was a mess because it said we could pay at check in but there isn't a check in person and they didn't let us know we had to pay 24 hours in advance. If I had the money for a new place I'd leave.

It was great to have a motel with a nice pool and beach access. We felt like we had a private beach. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean.

The room was relatively clean, especially for a beach front property. We were comfortable. I just wish there was a way to get hot water for Tea. Or wish Tea was offered at the continental breakfast area.

Originally planned for two people, but our daughter and grandson joined us. Room was fine for two people but a little crowded for four. Water temperature was good but shower pressure was a little harsh (felt like needles on my face). The bathroom fan didn’t work very well as the bathroom was wet from ceiling to floor after a shower and we didn’t take very hot showers. Air conditioning was great. Staff was super nice. Overall a good experience and we will be back.

View and access to beach

On Saturday evening the lady closed up the pool because she said storms were headed our way. They never came , that was disappointing to kids who want to swim, this was about 7:30-8:00 pm. Our room was up by the office and we could look toward beach and see it pretty good so view was good. The walk to beach was good also, got to see the tortoise’s and a few rabbits. I will be back in future . Love the Mom Pop style !’

We appreciated the low-key atmosphere, the pool, and the closeness to the beach. Family-friendly atmosphere.

This place is pretty cool, right on a nice section of the beach. The room was spacious and the beds were comfy. It was not noisy at all during our stay and the pool is pretty big. It's a smaller motel so staff are available and attentive. No charge to park as of this review, which influenced our decision to book with them. (Many competitors are changing guests $15/day to park). No hot breakfast here but good coffee and sweet treats provided in the office during morning hours. Center island location so breakfast is available nearby. Be advised that not all rooms include a microwave so plan accordingly. Nice cold fridge in our room. We will book here again in the future. It exceeded our expectations for the price. Sort of an old school, slightly funky beach vibe which was really relaxing and laid back. We experienced zero problems or issues here. Thumbs up.

the pool was not heated. water was too cold. i knew there was not hot tub, but one would have been nice. also, would have been helpful to have a microwave oven. good supply of ice for drinks and was able to keep medical icepacks cold. being on beach with walk was great.

Perfect location right on the beach! The staff was very friendly, and rooms were clean. My only wish is that the rooms came with a microwave. But the pool was amazing and loved the beach! Will definitely book with this motel in the future!

We have been here before & love the location, the staff & the lovely clean rooms that are always provided. One of the wonderful beachside properties available! We intend to return in the fall, after summer tourists return to their home states.
