Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale North/Cypress Creek

The common areas were always clean and well maintained, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience, and I would definitely book this hotel to again in my next visit the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area.

Did not try the breakfast, but the coffee is good.

The stay was nice. I think there could have been more dresser drawer space in the room. The Bistro eatery staff could have used more help at breakfast time. Loved the gym when we used it. Not sure I like the idea of having to pay daily for parking 🤔 😫. Everyone on staff was EXCELLENT

As a Marriott property it was well maintained something that’s a trademark and I appreciate that. However I will never visit that location again. The front desk guy I believe his name was (Jordan) was not engaging at all. Upon my entrance he absolutely never greeted me nor did he make contact. One of the things that makes me stay at Marriott is the customer service. I was stay a couple of nights and I didn’t read the policy about requesting rooms service. When I asked him about the trash and fresh towels he moved like it was a bother for him to say yes or no. So I just left. And the llittle cafe was even more poor customer service. I’m not use to being a bother when I’m paying hundreds of dollars for poor customer service. I admit I’m use to the Fairfield atmosphere however that location was right where our plan was. Marriott’s has always been clean bright and delivers great customer service however not in Fort Lauderdale.i will say the gentleman that works overnights was amazing and yes he did try to apologize for my experience. And I do appreciate him. Let’s fix this Marriott that’s not what I expected at all

The room did not have a bathtub although the photo of the room online indicated there was one. It was a handicapped room (which I did not want) and yet the outer door was extremely difficult to open so I cannot imagine how someone in a wheelchair would be able to navigate it.. On the plus side, the greeting was warm and friendly, there were plenty of free muffins and they gave 2 free bottles of water when you arrived. Overall it was a good experience with those few exceptions.

The mattresses were awfully stained.The toilet seat had rusty hinges that oozed on the toilet.The night staff at the coffee shop on 5/29/26 was very rude to my granddaughter.
