Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Galveston West/Seawall

The staff was very nice and accommodating. The bed was very clean and I felt fine to sleep on it. There were chips on the paint in our room, it consistently smelled like marijuana in the elevators and outside the room. It was very loud outside and in the hallway. There was hair that didn’t belong to us in the shower. The person at the front desk said the would serve “pastries” in the morning but there was only one flavor of mini muffins and nothing else. Not a great experience and I will not be choosing to stay there again.

Bought the hotel at 1030.9m.bef9r ei left my home on hotel.com..arrived at the hotel at 2 and they said they marked me as a ni show and refused to let me stay and refused to give me a refund so I had to go stay somewhere else and pay another 100. 00 and lost the 78 I paid for the room. I used to love to stay here until they took my money. They told me the room was vacant and even though I paid for the room for the time I was there they refused to let me stay

No coffee pot in room. No breakfast. People above us on 3rd floor made a lot of noise!! Will not stay again! Beds were double not queen.

The hotel smelled terrible. As soon as you walked through the door it smelt like mildew. The towels, the sheets. Everything just smelt awful. There was something spelt on the floor outside the elevator and the next morning it was still there. I feel like the facility could have been more kept.

Do not let fresh paint and remodeling scare you! Very helpful staff on a busy weekend. I believe breakfast will be back to be served after the remodeling. Very clean room!

Location No hot breakfast

Clean comfortable and easy to get to. Large room with comfortable bed. Well soundproofed. Never heard the little kids next door after we got out of the hall into our room. The breakfast was lacking.

It was clean It was sparsely furnished and felt like we were in kindergarten. It was not cozy or inviting. There was also a mix up at the front desk which resulted in someone trying to get in our room at 1 am in the morning, scared us to death. And then several calls verifying who we were and our key cards made invalid. Most likely will not stay here again.

Wasn't far from the seawall It was very loud all night long with people slamming doors, running up and down the hallway. It was a strong odor/smell of marijuana / known as skunk weed. Also, we paid for a (KING STUDIO ROOM FAR FROM IT WAS JUST A STANDARD ROOM.) It said to be a beach view from our balcony, boy that was a lie. OUR VIEW ON OUR BALCONY WAS THE BACK OF ANOTHER HOTEL AND TO OUR LEFT WE COULDN'T SEE NO BEACH JUST CONSTRUCTION ON THE HOTEL AND TO THE RIGHT WAS AN AIRPORT LANDING STRIP. (THERE WAS A HUGH RAT ? SQUASHED IN THE PARKING LOT WONDER HOW MANY MORE IS AROUND THERE OR INSIDE.
