Iris Garden Inn

The hotel appears to be nice at first glance; nonetheless, for the cost it was slight above, but efficient for its offering. I had to clean the bathroom and spray the room down with Lysol. The heating and cooling unit was dirty and fear of allergies I suffer in discomfort from using it. The refrigerator needed to be deiced and dripped onto the floor a great deal. The shower head were never cleaned, some of the plastic areal pieces fell off since they were so hard with calcium and lime. In my opinion, the room had not had a deep cleaning in years. If it was my hotel I would perform deep cleaning weekly. Spot cleaning really doesn't work for a traveling aid to an array of people's needs. I am an international accountant and try to find reasonable price hotels for working long hours and not really using the facilities. My room was so dirty, I refused to eat the complimentary breakfast. The breakfast is the best part of selecting the hotel and when I do not eat there it speak volume to the facilities.

Ok location, bed, air-conditioned. Bathroom lights dimmed. Entrance light way to dim. Bathroom smelled musky, must be water damage. Toilet seat out of place, missing nut and bolts. Window curtain not operating properly.

We did not like anything about this place. Most horrible night I've ever spent There was nothing to like about this place. The staff was horrible. The room was dirty. Everything about this place was horrible if I could give it a negative review I would

The staff was beyond rude and overall unhelpful. They lack compassion and I had an awful experience speaking with them.

The beds were too small for tall people and not enough parking spaces.

The location is ok, 10min away of the historical center The carpet is blackened with dirt. As soon as you walk in, the cigarette stench is unbearable. The walls have strange stains, and anything you place anywhere will pick up that smoke smell. This hotel doesn’t deserve more than one star. At least the sheets and towels were clean.

Room was clean just didn’t have even parking space.

The room was clean. The staff was very polite and professional. There was plenty of parking. The location is very close to the Savannah River waterfront. There are plenty of daily-use businesses nearby.

The location is fabulous for where we needed to be and go. The staff was very kind and helpful! The “breakfast” was not so desirable. There were few choices and the coffee was not tasty.

It was ok I thought maybe it would have been better rooms since it was fairly new and the smell in the elevator was omg terrible and the room didn’t smell fresh

This hotel was filthy

There was an issue with our room having several roaches on the wall and Shannon (the night clerk) quickly changed our room without any hesitation. She provided us with excellent customer service. Although I booked with option to pay at Hotel, I had to pay first night in advance because they could not secure my room past 6pm for a late arrival. The room smelled dank and damp, carpets and floors were dirty. I had to use an entire pack of Lysol Disinfectant wipes to wipe down everything, including the floors. There was a used wash cloth thrown across the shower curtain (probably from past guest). Water was slow to drain during shower so we were standing in dirty water while showering. Amenities: Free Breakfast ( Since our first room had roaches, we opted out of the meal). No shower soap as stated. Room where the ice maker is was dirty for the entire 3-night stay... never swept or mopped.
