Would recommend checking in prior to arriving as it is self check in and after a long day of driving, sitting at the locked front door trying to figure out the digital key was not ideal. The bar was closed and there is no pool or other amenities so I would recommend stying up the street at the more known hotels. They had pools and bars. Our room was in front of a side door that slammed behind anyone walking in or out and since there is no staff to ask for a room change, we had to deal with it. The room felt too small for a couple with luggage and so we couldn’t get ready comfortably in the morning. The decor was nice but not worth saying there.

We loved this hotel! It’s elegantly decorated and the staff is so friendly! It was a perfect location for walking around the town.

location is great right downtown. we had some trouble with the tech entering the building and our rooms thank goodness the bar was open because the bar tender was extremely helpful. we very much enjoyed the bar and the fabulous service there

Bedding is wonderful and very comfortable. Bath products were amazing. Room is close quarters. Bar not open and we never met any employees. Check in is totally remote.

The location won for this property, it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. For us, the room was tinier than expected, very dark, odd lighting, no desk or chair (likely no room), staffless (which is odd for us and particularly in a historic property?), lounge was closed, seemed everything cost extra except the cold water - thank you!

Cute. Clean. Easy to get to. Quiet. Having to remember to do the parking app. It would be better if you just paid for parking with the room.

It was clean Virtual check-in didn’t run smoothly as never received texts. Parking not included in price.

Right in the heart of downtown Grand Junction within walking distance of plenty of bars and restaurants. Try Cruise Control a couple blocks from hotel for great beer, cocktails and food. Hotel Melrose has been beautifully restored— Lovely sitting area, backyard patio, and a great lounge. We will definitely stay again.
