I have to start this review by saying that the staff was friendly and hospitable, but the actual hotel was not great. The shower handle came off the when taking my first shower. They did send someone to fix it but that only lasted one more shower. The elevators were all out of service and we were having to use the service elevator if we wanted to get to the lobby, stairs were only for emergencies. The one day that we thought to use the pool, we looked out the window to find that the pool was empty of water. So safe to say that our stay was far from great.

I really enjoyed my space. The property was very clean. The staff was very helpful. Only downsize was the pool was not open,

Hotel must have been very nice when it was new. But it really needs a major renovation. Elevators were mostly not running, mattresses were old and soft, furniture needs replacement. Staff were very helpful and friendly, it was the one saving grace.

Beautiful location, nice room! We had to use the service elevator the whole stay because the other elevators did not work. Someone was stuck inside the elevator at one point. There was no water in the pool, which we were really looking forward to. The shower was scolding hot. For the amount I paid ($570+), I was HIGHLY disappointed! The only good thing about my experience was the customer service I received from EVERYONE!

Great location. I stay here often. Only complaint is that it may be time for some elevator upgrades both in the hotel and the parking garage

Major issues with guest elevators. Was told that they do not work well when the temperature is hot?? Did not work the majority of the time. Aware of at least one couple that got stuck in the elevator for up to an hour and a half before being rescued by the fire department. I had to resort to using the staff elevator . Breakfast was definitely not worth an additional fee , eat elsewhere. Showers were definitely unique. Trying to adjust the hot / cold ratio was near impossible. The front desk staff was attentive when checking in, but maintenance definitely appears to be neglected. AC was not working very well in room, probably due to the fact that the filter that was installed 3 years ago. Probably needed replacement 2 years ago. Location of hotel was nice being close to the river

There was only one elevator that worked the entire time. Hot water takes 5 minutes to heat up. Hotel is run down.

-The air conditioner was so loud and made a big bang when it turned on during the night. -I found mold on our sheets. I told the front desk and they said they would get the housekeeper to change our linens. I asked the housekeeper later she didn't seem to know about it, She promptly changed it. -You cannot contact the front desk from the phone in the room. I tried a few times but just got a fast busy signal. When I spoke to the manager he said those buttons (front desk, room service, etc) don't work and we had to press "0". That is not stated on the phone and I would not have known to do that in an emergency. I mention this because it could cause a legal issue for someone. -The elevators were extremely slow. during the 3 days we stayed only one was working consistently. A second one worked a bit at the end of the stay. And the third was completely out of order. We were given 2 free breakfasts after I asked for them. We have stayed here before and not experienced anything like this on our prior stays. We paid for the convenience to be near the festival but I'm not sure it was worth the price.

Room was very clean, excellent staff. Great ammenities.

Bathroom door came off the track, complained first night nothing done, next morning completely fell falling on one guest. AC did not blow cold air, refrigerator did not cool, pool was not open, elevators only worked part time. Had to take stairs and use emergency exit at one point creating alarms to sound. Compensated with complimentary breakfast which was not good at all. Was moved to another room on second night but no compensation other than breakfast and snacks. Feel like room rate should have been reduced. Will not stay here again. Property has definitely gone done hill since my last stay 2 years ago.

Great stay, staff and service!!!!

One elevator not working, pool was empty ( no water). Staff were great, cleanliness on point, very comfortable beds great location
-
We were only here for one night. Very nice room with a view and the beds were super comfortable! Garage parking seemed to be the only parking available, but I was asked if we wanted to park in the garage - and it costs extra to park there - not sure where any other parking was, so that was confusing. All in all, a great place to stay. The tunnel area is all under construction and idiots were still trying to drive 80+ on those roads, so use caution in the area. I thought we were going to get run off the road! But overall, a great place to stay.

I would not stay again. The windows leaked when it rained. We called and spoke to the manager and he asked “What do you want me to do” Wow! There 5 days, never cleaned our room. We asked for clean washcloths, they said they had no clean washcloths in the whole hotel. Some of the staff did not show good customer service. Can not believe this is a Hilton hotel. Hilton needs to pay them a visit and get things in order.

TV reception was good. The parking garage was filthy. Trash hadn’t been emptied for days.
-
I’ve stayed here a couple times this wasn’t the best experience. Wasn’t much lighting in the room, the sliding door to the bathroom was stuck. We asked for more towels never got them. Not the best experience

The staff really makes you feel welcome. The hotel is always clean and beautiful.

Views are beautiful over the Marina/water. Room was clean and updated. Restaurant owned by the hotel was delicious. Easy driving in and out. Mixed review, but I will be looking for a better value in Hampton next time. The Landing seems to be aiming for high margin customers but not delivering on the basics that are expected at their room prices.
