H2O Hermosa Beach Hotel

Wonderful hotel! The location was ideal just a block from the beach. Staff was absolutely amazing and they offered free beach chairs and umbrella which was such a great perk! Will stay here again!

The hotel was great. The room was very nice and clean, and it wasn't hard to get your breakfast. The view was nice and the staff their were kind too.

This hotel is one of the best ones in the area. Our room was very clean and so was the entire property. It is very close to the beach and offers great breakfast options. The entire staff we encountered were all so very kind and helpful. Will stay here again!

The "Gorment continental breakfast" needs to take out "gorment". Nothing hot or prepared there. Bed was comfy. Location and parking excellent. Staff wonderful. We were given a mobility room where the walk in shower had a fixed wall on one side and open on the other Water sprayed out onto the floor. We did not request it or need it.

I like the cleanliness and location, specifically the proximity to the beach, shops, and restaurants. What I didn’t like was that the bedside outlets didn’t work and that whenever the clothing iron was turned on the smoke detector in the room would go off, which isn’t the biggest issue, just something to note. My main issue was when I arrived a few hours prior to check in time, I asked if there was any chance my room was ready and if not, if they could just hold on to my luggage in the meantime. There was only one person at the desk who told me that there were superior king rooms available, which I had booked, but I would have to wait until check in time for a “better room.” I agreed to wait then he asked for my ID and I gave it to him. For context I am 20f and I also look very young. After he was handed my ID, his demeanor was strange and he suddenly told me that they were “all booked” and that they had a room ready now, which was contradicting what he previously said. I was dumbfounded that he was admitting to giving me a “worse room.” I thought that was weird because I had booked months in advance. I was so burnt out from travel all morning and also kinda shocked and confused at what just happened, so I didn’t really question him. I remember seeing that a balcony was included with the room I booked. I even doubled checked to make sure. Whenever I got to my room, there was no balcony and I was very disappointed. It really rubbed me the wrong way knowing that I paid that much for a specific room and didn’t get it. I really didn’t like how I felt taken advantage of because of my age, and that might not be true, but I’m pretty sure that was the case. The only real issue I had was with that one male employee. On a more positive note, I stayed for three nights, and I would consider staying again because it was clean and I loved the location and ambiance.
