The Dixie Hollywood

There was a restaurant underneath the room we were staying in, and the smell of the food coming into the room was overpowering and smelled really strong. We didn't stay at the hotel for that reason. They did not want to give us a refund not happy at all. Homeless people in the parking lot all day.

A small ac that fails to cool the entire suite. The bathroom is cramped. There are incessant emergency service sirens all throughout the day. The parking is charged at $25 a day without any security. The swimming pool is tiny. For the price it sells it is extremely expensive when one considers what it offers.

The property itself was in pretty good condition. To be honest. The only issue I had is that for the size of the room the air conditioning was very loud. Also, it was very difficult to navigate the TV channels as well as a TV guide. Everything else, and my experience, was well worth the price. I would highly recommend this hotel.

A group of women came by to show me a welcome to Hollywood. Rooms were a bit dirty and. Parking was terrible

The assistant manager, Amy was absolutely awful. She was rude and would not give the name of the manager nor the company who owned the hotel. Our air-conditioning did not work. Our TV did not work. We called several times and they never came. I have stayed there several times in the past and never had a problem. This place is gotten horrible and Amy was the reason as well. They are trying to double charge us for parking and amenities. The place really went downhill.

The front desk staff are wonderful. The rooms are big and very clean. Nice easy parking. The beds are very comfortable.

Location great, right next to train station, 15 minutes by train to Universal Studios. Clean, comfy beds but the air conditioning way too loud Air conditioning too loud, hard to sleep it was so loud and could not be turned down any lower

It says from the website of expedia avail parking u have to $25 for it we oaid early check in at 12:40 pm paid $58 and the front desk charged me $19 on top fro i paid from expeida fro this price i can get a better hotel not motel just saying too much

Property location was great, walkable food options. The bed was harder then a rock

So I have been to the Dixie Hollywood Motel 3 or 4 times now. I really like this Motel. BUT this time. (and I know its not their fault. But Last night we had sirens about every 20 minutes and helicopters flying around for hours.... I didn't like the sirens all night or the fact that both the rooms I rented yesterday were built for people that are vertically challenged. I am 5'7 and everything was the right height for my 4yr old grand daughter...

Everything was awesome, it’s close to Hollywood blvd so me and my lady just walked the whole Hollywood blvd. :) I will say that having a microwave in the room would be a nice addition :) but overall an awesome place to stay!?!
