The location can’t be beat. The room was good except I noticed that it was not swept very well. Plus the use of the resort credits was not very clear on how you could use them.

Staff was friendly unable to find at times. Pool was refreshing. Food was adequate. Parking a breeze. Female at bar on the evening was nice.

Our stay was great … meal was excellent … all staff was curious with the exception of the guy working at the bar … he was only waiting on people seated and I kept trying to order and he just ignored us . Finally a girl came over and apologized and took our order . But the rest of the staff was wonderful .

Checked in early, which was very helpful. Very nice amenities. Live music on Saturday night in the bar was an unexpected bonus! Will come again.

Clean and very nice. We would have loved to have had more time to enjoy all the amenities they had onsite.

Food was very good - breakfast and dinner. Location and view of property and ocean from room balcony was exceptional. Staff was friendly and accommodating 99% of the time. Pool was perfect for relaxing. Handicapped ramp to the beach in addition to stairs is a main reason we choose this hotel over others on the beach. Not crazy about the comfort of the beds. Upgrade the bed comfort and you will have a home run!

Room with a balcony facing the ocean. What Breakfast? Half the hotel got breakfast the other half did not. I was in the did not side..... What???

Hotel & Room Location, cleanliness, etc. The view from our room was spectacular! The extractor in the bathroom was either non-existent, or it didn't work. Also, one half of hotel guests were entitled to free breakfast, but guests in the other half were not. This meant we had to leave the premise early, and try to find a suitable and uncrowded place to eat breakfast. Very frustrating. Also, I found it odd that the wooden walkway leading out to the beach was unlighted... possibly putting beachcombers at risk (after sunset).

This hotel was mediocre at best. The tv was facing the left side of the room and could not be turned toward the bed so you could actually see it. When watching from the bed you could not read subtitles because of the angle of the tv in relation to the bed. You could sit on the sofa and watch. The air conditioner was dreadful. It never got below 70 and the room was stuffy. I finally asked for a box fan and they gave it to me. We paid a lot for the room and would have expected more of a luxury feel. The staff was not friendly at all, just in of the mill. The housekeeper was very kind and pleasant, always smiling. When I needed to ask for coffee she was pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed Jekyll Island, but we made a mistake using Expedia instead of booking directly through the hotel. Lesson learned. The free parking was adequate and convenient.

The shower had a lot of black mold. Failure in the housekeeping. Also with the rooms only being serviced every 3 days, it feels like being at home rather than a top of the line hotel.

It's time to shampoo the carpets. Door locks are defective, but once we learned the trick it was no longer a problem. Surcharges are confusing. There's a $30/day "destination fee", but you can get half of it back if you spend it at the hotel?????

Loved walking south to the point where the birds nested and the turtles layed their eggs - also, a beautiful view of Cumberland Island.

Location was great. Room was sea view, however it was a side view so barely what I expected. Bar inside had great drinks. Walk to beach was close. View not as expected, AC does not go below 68 so we were hot almost all night. No door on half of shower. Breakfast not included.
