Homewood Suites by Hilton Lafayette Rossville Exit

This is a perfect place for families. We had food places close by but were also able to cook in the unit to support our picky eaters. The location is great, easy access to high interest areas.

The biggest challenge was parking. The available parking was extremely limited, which made coming and going more stressful than it should have been. The room itself also showed signs that it could use some attention. The bed sagged noticeably to one side and was quite lumpy, making it difficult to get a comfortable night's sleep. Inside the cabinets, there were crumbs left behind, which raised concerns about the thoroughness of housekeeping. We also noticed what appeared to be water damage to the floorboards around the fireplace, and despite our efforts, we couldn't figure out how to get the fireplace to work. In addition, there were visible water stains on the ceiling that suggested previous leaks. None of these issues completely ruined our stay, and the staff we encountered were pleasant, but addressing these maintenance and cleanliness concerns would go a long way toward improving the guest experience.

Breakfast was great. Easy location to get to. So many dinner options around! Was hoping they still had the fireplace in the room as advertised.

The only thing more disappointing than the stay in this hotel was the lack of assistance from Hotels.com. We will no longer be utilizing Hotels.com for all future traveling as they were incredibly unresponsive and the lack of understanding when the hotel did not have hot water for two full days. Traveling with eight adults and spending a very large amount of of money per night ( hotels.com made my remove the cost….) for three nights and not having hot water for two of those nights is totally unacceptable. David on staff was incredibly helpful and really trying, but if he had managers that should’ve been supporting them, they were nowhere to be seen. Never heard from anyone beyond our continually reaching out to find out if the problem was going to be fixed so people could take showers. Completely and totally unacceptable and Hilton’s name is forever tarnished in our travel plans….as is Hotels.com.

To be continually told it was fixed yet it wasn’t, was incredibly frustrating. Taking this hotel, and possibly the entire Hilton name off of our list of travel hotels.

Hotel room was great! Bed was comfy for sleeping. Breakfast was nice. Next time we stop in Lafayette we will be staying here again. It’s nice to have a hotel room that feels like a mini apartment!

Love the earlier check in time of 3:00 and later check out. Our room wasn’t quite ready, but they were very apologetic and quickly switched our room so we could get in right away. The room space was more than adequate for what we needed. Breakfast area was welcoming. Breakfast choices were excellent, but they struggled to keep up with volume. We went at 9, an hour before breakfast was over and waited a bit for clean plates and hot food, as well as other restocks-but they were there and trying, it was just really busy. We didn’t use a lot of the other amenities, but they looked good!

Another exceptional stay at this Homewood Suites. A really great experience each time. Great staff, hearty delicious breakfast and quite the accommodations. This is our go to place in Lafayette.

The outside staircase was rusty. The fireplace in the room did not work and screen was broken. The furnace was very very loud. The breakfast Sunday morning was awful. And we paid over $300. We stay in Homewood suites all over the US and this was by far the worst. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

The size of the room was good It’s was so dirty. There was old toothpaste stains on the vanity and drawer knobs. The bathroom had an odor and the towels had stains. Someone had smoked in the room cause there was yellow liquid droplets on the bathroom door. Globs of hair on the back of the door in the bathroom.

Very family friendly. Always enjoy staying here while in Lafayette.

Most comfortable stay in a spacious suite with great breakfasts. Really nice staff throughout. We will be returning. This is a perfect option in Lafayette. Convenient to everything yet very quiet.

The front desk person was amazing and it was an awesome room. I would absolutely stay here again.
