Suburban Studios Lafayette

Absolutely horrible. The first room they put me in the window was broken and open. The second room they put me in iwas extremely dirty. The mirrors were filthy. The floors were filthy. The furniture was scratched up and it smelled like mildew. The tv was very difficult to work so I didn’t watch it. Nothing like what the picture show on Expedia. The lock on the door at the top was not there. When I woke up the next morning, my door was unlocked. I locked the door. I did not feel safe there at all. I actually put a piece of their furniture and my suitcase in front of the door. There was nowhere else for me to go because the hotels were sold out because of the Purdue university graduation. I am just appalled by what I had to stay in. Don’t stay there!

Dirty room and carpet. All towels including bed sheet had yellow and black stains. Shower handle was broken, table was broken. Staff extremely rude and unprofessional. Dirty paper on floor. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Friendly staff however the hotel definitely does NOT reflect the pictures of the rooms. Bedding was stained and had cigarette burn holes. The shower had mold stains and the plunger was disgusting. The towels were stained, and the microwave was rusty and had mold in it. Although I did not plan on using the pool, it was filled in with rocks so it is not available for use. I would not recommend. Very overpriced!

It was the best stafff was amazing when there was a problem they were very prompt.

The staff is very nice and friendly

Awful conditions, looked absolutely nothing like the photos. Smelled very bad, room was dirty. Outside was not kept up well and there was trash all over. Appeared people were living there like a motel. Even the door lock in the room was loose. Felt very unsafe. We ended up leaving and going to another hotel, attempting to get our refund back.

Run down, picture on booking look perfect but are not when you come to property No pots or pans here in the studio rooms you have to buy them yourself

Management gave conflicting answers about who the owner was, which felt unprofessional. The hotel had a strong food odor throughout, the sink area was not clean, there were no tissues provided, and the doors creaked loudly and did not close properly. Overall, poor cleanliness and service. This hotel was very disappointing and not worth the cost. I do not recommend booking here for business or family travel. Whole Hotel!

Entire hotel smelled. There were cigarette burns in bed sheets. Dirty counters, hole in the bathroom door and toilet seat was broke

We booked this room but after arriving decided to look somewhere else. The bedding did not look super clean and the comforter was torn. There was a bug crawling up the wall right inside the door. The sink had a large crack in it. Overall, just dirty and not a warm, comfortable feel. We didn’t even ask for our money back (that’s on us) we just left and ended up at the double tree for nearly the same price!

We didn't stay! We had cockroaches crawling on the walls. The smell was atrocious. Beds were stained with bugs. The bathroom shower faucet was 2 inches outside of the wall. The front desk representative refused to give cancelation or refund. I had to argue for a receipt. I booked with the insurance for cancelation and still haven't received a refund. Does anyone actually go to look at these places before posting photos? I was very misled on what I saw online, and extremely upset on ruining my event for the weekend. I will never use hotels.com again and will advise others not to as well.

The place smell so bad, when I get in the room the smell is like shoes (I can’t really explained but it is so bad) We stayed into 4 different hotel and this place is the worse one. The bath tub is also dirty not sure if the black spot on the side was mold or something. The black chair is also dirty, it is something that you wouldn’t want to use. My husband wants to find a different place but we do not have a choice cause all the hotels nearby was all booked.

I will never stay there again. Pictures did not match what was shown on the website. It also did not state it was a Econo Lodge. If you do decide to stay there book it through econo, it will save u around $170/ night. Staff barely talked to us. Mold everywhere, the place stunk like body odor and old food. The carpet had sticky spots on it. The bathroom door wouldnt shut. They had old box springs and mattresses on the back side where the pool is that doesnt work. There were metal objects sticking out of the outlets in the hallway. Outlets in the room dodnt work. Cigarette burns in the blankets and mattress. Material for the head board was peeling off, only certain tv channels came in clear. AND no breakfast.
