The Ohioan Hotel & Event Center

I really love the multiple pools and the outside area with the lounge area in the back of hotel with the water fall. Did not get to experience the breakfast because it wasn’t included in the stay. But overall I would definitely stay there again.

June 21, 2026, the was no bar or restaurant available for dinner. Breakfast was $10.00 (could be because I booked through Expedia) & was probably a good deal, but I didn’t try it. The bed was just OK, not very comfortable. At check in the staff was very nice and apologetic that The Pub was closed. The walls aren’t all that soundproof (not that anyone claimed they were) and I could hear all of the giggling, dancing around and yelling at each other from the young woman next-door (I’m guessing high school age), they did quiet down by 10:30 PM so it was all good. The coffee set up in the room is different than I’ve experience before; there is a kettle to heat water and coffee is in a pouch with wings that fit over the edge of the cup while you pour the hot water over the grounds. The first pouch, as I was opening the wings the pouch split open and coffee grounds went everywhere. The second time I was more successful and the coffee was good. There was a refrigerator, but no microwave (I thought I read somewhere there was supposed to be one), this trip it really didn’t matter so I didn’t mention it to staff. The grounds are lovely and well kept, and the area is quite peaceful. I enjoyed sitting outside for a while and reading my book. The shower/toilet area is quite small. The sink is outside of the shower-toilet area. There is sufficient lighting in the room with regular outlets and USB outlets. The channels on the TV were a bit limited for my taste.

Only stayed one night I wished I could have stayed longer. I recommend this place.

Exceptional

I have stayed here multiple times now, and it quickly became my favorite place to stay. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are very clean, and the breakfast is great!

What a beautiful Property! We travel quite a bit and this has got to have been my favourite hotel so far!

I will be definitely coming back. This is a very nice place that you won't regret staying at! Bar on site and pool that you can relax and enjoy your beverage. Close to practically anything you want to eat or do.

The hotel, room and grounds were excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Located close to stores and restaurants.

My only complaint is that they lost my reservation from Expedia. Booked in January, I called to confirm beginning of June and the manager said they were fully booked. Somehow he managed to "find us a room"... Needless heartache because they didn't see the reservation.

Very Nice and pleasant stay.

Very nice stay! Breakfast was so good!! Only complaints I have is parking is pretty far from entrances, there wasn't a microwave in the rooms. But all together a great stay we had!!

Nice staff to greet you. The property was beautiful, nice clean room, lovely breakfast. We stumbled across this property last minute for an event and we will absolutely be staying here again next time in the area!

Beautiful property. Very nice breakfast buffet for a charge. Parking is a bit far from the entrances, especially if there is an event and the side lot is full. We walked quite a distance with our bags when we checked in.

The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean and spacious.
