Their lobby area alone was amazing, and had a bar on the back side. Lots of cool decor, really fun environment. Huge plus, there’s a really good toco truck right across the street. Also just a small walk to grand central market.

The room was wonderful and had really awesome features. It had a tablet that allowed you to control the powered curtains the LED lights in the main room and the bathroom and also control the TV and the AC. Overall, a great experience.

Great place to stay dtla. Hip spacious ground floor with good food, drinks, working areas. Great dining nearby. Very friendly staff

No parking, parking garage next door has homeless living in elevator making them inaccessible.

We definitely enjoyed our stay, but shocked with the tightness of the room. We were later informed this is consistent across the other CitizenM properties. Great for solo travelers or a couple. Maybe not the best for two besties with too much stuff. Overall a great stay and we enjoyed the decor and vibe!!!

The bed is pretty comfortable and the hotel is fine. It tries too hard to be "hip" or whatever, but that's marginally pointless. Having all the controls to the room TV, thermostat, curtains, etc., all on an ipad is pretty nice. The area is outside the convention center/basketball arena part of downtown LA but is very walkable to bars and restaurants. There is also substantial transit in the area, both light rail and various buses. All in all, for the price, it is a place to stay if you aren't going to be in the hotel very much. Good for sleeping and that's about it.
