Level Los Angeles Downtown - South Olive

The room had broken tiles, cabinets warped,and the shampoo and conditioner was not filled. I’ve stayed here 4 times before and never had a room like this.but I’ve also only been on the east end. Other then that we love it here!

Everything about the property I loved, it was near what I had planned for my weekend stay in downtown, we had a corner room so it was decently quiet. My only complaint was that there was only two working elevators during our stay out of only the four that they have for 33-34 floors. Someone came to service it our first day but it wasn’t fixed, and same as the second day. The only time we didn’t have to wait 20 minutes for an elevator or walk up nine floors to get to our room was if we were returning or leaving later at night. My friend also encountered a half naked homeless man in the parking garage of the property which gets locked up and they have security/valet at the entrance so I’m unsure how he even got down to the guest self-parking.

Absolutely perfect from start to finish! Fahima was wonderful at check in and super helpful during our entire trip. The room was beyond our expectations! And in a perfect location nearby Crypto.com arena for a concert we were attending. The 4th floor amenities were great as well with a full shades area to relax, basketball court, ping pong table, pool and lots of seating area with tvs! I don’t normally write reviews but we absolutely loved this hotel so I had to come write one. Already rebooked for another event in august! Love the beautiful balcony and view of LA from our room. The kitchen space in the room was also amazing with an oven, stove, fridge with water & ice maker, full dining table and even a dishwasher! Very impressed!

Great stay ! Wonderful front desk . They force double night stay on weekends and raise price to highway robbery . Good at 150 more is too much. Wil be back for t he right price .

The was nice and clean . The staff was very friendly, communicative, and helpful. I enjoyed my stay . It’s a bit pricey but it’s okay I guess

Everything Nothing

First, I want to say that I genuinely like the property itself, the amenities, and the overall concept of the hotel. I chose Level because I was looking for a relaxing getaway and would absolutely consider staying again in the future. However, my recent experience was disappointing due to several issues that occurred throughout my stay. When I arrived around 4:30 PM, my room was still not ready despite the stated 4:00 PM check-in time, and I had to wait approximately 20 additional minutes before I could access it. Upon entering the room, I found a long strand of hair on the floor, small pieces of debris in multiple areas, stains on the couch cushions, and other signs that the room may have been rushed through housekeeping rather than thoroughly cleaned. There were also maintenance issues including an air conditioning problem and a shower curtain rod that would not stay secured properly. Additionally, Netflix did not function properly during my stay. While a technician was eventually able to get it working on the living room television, it never worked on the bedroom television. Since one of the reasons for my stay was to relax and enjoy the room amenities, this significantly impacted my experience. I reported these concerns multiple times to the front desk and management. Unfortunately, the primary solution offered was to pay an additional amount to upgrade to

I was very disappointed with my stay. The rooms felt dirty, and had a weird odor. This was a very basic hotel for the price. Definitely would not stay here again.

Great place to stay at when you’re in DTLA. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Wanting to remember such wonderful service, I asked for a business card. Instead of simply saying there wasn't one available, Foyeemoy took the extra time to find a card and personally handwrite a sweet note for me: "Ms. Janice! This is Foyeemoy at the front desk! Enjoy your stay!" It may seem like a small gesture, but it meant so much to me. In today's fast-paced world, many interactions can feel rushed and impersonal. This felt different. It felt deeply sincere. Beautiful rooms and luxury amenities certainly make a hotel memorable, but extraordinary people are what truly create lasting impressions. Before my daughter's graduation celebration had even begun, Foyeemoy had already made my day brighter.

It was nicer in person than the pictures.
