WoodSpring Suites Toledo Maumee

We arrived at approx 1:30pm on Friday. Staff was nice and helpful at check-in. However, lobby was quite grungy and could tell was not in the best shape. Grabbed a luggage carrier and two of the wheels were flat. Got on the elevator and the whole thing shook before we even moved (happened every time it was used). Room was VERY basic and kitchen was awful! Only an oven (no stove - 2 hot pads on top of counter). Not one single thing in the kitchen, no utensils, cups, plates, absolutely nothing! We traveled 150+ miles and was expected to bring silverware and cups? Seriously?! First room they gave us, the phone and tv didn't work. We told them at approx 2:30pm (60 mins after arrival). We then left the hotel for most of the day and returned approx 8:30pm that evening. Nothing had been fixed. Told them again about the things that didn't work. Was then informed they'd have to move us to another room, as there wasn't a maint person. No one told us we'd have to move rooms when we first told them at 2:30pm. Or we would have moved then and wouldn't have started unpacking. But of course, we had, so we had to pack everything and move to another room. Everything worked in the 2nd room. But, as the 1st room, not a thing in the kitchen. Just empty shelves and cabinets. They also didn't have ice machines on the premises. They're answer to that was "well, there's ice trays in the freezers." Again, seriously!?!? Do NOT recommend this hotel, will never stay here again!

Room was clean bathroom was very clean, only thing is they to supply dishes as the is a small stove but no pots and pans or cutlery… would stay again

Elevator's not working had to check out and go to another hotel.

The room was nice. Lots of space. I felt safe. The staff tried to help with the issues I had. The first day was stressful because the room I requested wasn't the room I got till the second day. The bed was taller than I expected. Due to having surgery in the last few months

Room was clean with a decent sized kitchen area and big bathroom. Bed was comfortable but bathroom could use some attention. Seemed a bit beat up but clean. Would stay here again.

The bed covers had holes from cigarette burns. The hallways reaked of cigarettes while the rooms had the overwhelming smell of air freshener. We had to open the window to help with the odor. Clean sheets and towels were the only positive. The room was not that clean. I will not stay here again.

The facility was new and well kept. All the staff were friendly.

There were lot of noises coming continuously from the other rooms throughout the night which disturbed the sleep

The TV did not work and they were unable to fix it or give us another room!!

Location The room smelled so terrible we had to leave. It smelled like something very stinky had just been cooked. The floor was dirty.
