President Hotel

Nice place, centrally located, and the breakfast was good too. Friendly staff!

Had an incredible 3 night stay at President Hotel. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The entire building was well cleaned and the air conditioning was perfect in every room. The breakfast in the morning was a huge plus and was a great way to start our mornings. The location was also super convenient- beach one block away, Walgreens within 3 mins walking distance and great restaurants in the area. Definitely will be staying here again next time I’m in South Beach.

The photos were misleading. I thought the hotel was nice so I booked it despite having other choices around the area only to find out they assigned us to the "President Villas". The President Villas didn't look nice at all. It really looked like a cheap motel so I'm not going here again. I also booked a penthouse room and 1 king bed but they sent us to a 2 full size bed room. I complained and they said that we actually got a free upgrade because the room is bigger. It didn't feel like an upgrade at all and they should have told us about that beforehand. I've been to Miami a couple times and it's my first time experiencing this. I've been to better hotels here for the same price point. They also didn't give free beach umbrellas and chairs which were disappointing because other hotels did. The only thing I liked is that they let us extend for a bit after check out time, but in general, it's better to bring your money elsewhere and book a different hotel.

However, the photos on the website do not accurately reflect the actual rooms. The rooms look quite different from the pictures, and the hotel itself feels a bit outdated and could benefit from renovations. The front desk manager came across as somewhat rude and very serious, which was not the most welcoming experience. On the other hand, the young lady who assisted me was extremely helpful, professional, and courteous. With some updates to the property and a more consistent customer service experience, this hotel could be much better , good location

Breakfast seemed okay, but we never ate there. Don’t let the photos fool you though! You’re in for disappointment. It’s old and you can smell it too.

The hotel was a 5 min walk from the beach and near so many restaurants, bars and clubs within walking distance/10 min ride. I had a great stay! The staff were always friendly and kind with smiles on their faces. I hope to stay here again when I return to South Beach.

Bad

Only thing I felt was an issue was having a late flight, I wasn’t given the room I paid for I was given a king bed with a balcony not the penthouse with terrace I paid for via Expedia. The room was changed by front desk once I arrived.

Everything was perfect, the staff was amazing, they provided excellent service, the breakfast was excellent I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I will definitely be back if

The hotel itself was very overrated and too expensive for what it offered. The pool closed at 7pm and the bar closed at 10pm. No snacks or vending machine available. No other entertainment offered. The toilet continued to run throughout the entire stay we reported to front desk. Overnight front desk staff very rude and disrespectful and his reason was I don't speak good english. Too expensive and old building....

Mike, the supervisor was super awesome. You need 10 more like him.. I enjoyed staying at the property. This is not my first time there. I would definitely be back again.

La habitación no las limpian solo tienden la cama y cambian toallas, el bar cerrado todo el día hasta las 4 pm ni café puedes tomar en el hotel solo a la hora de desayuno
