Location was great The room was dirty, with mold in the shower and furniture, walls and ceiling, and carpet that were all peeling and needed serious updates. We asked for extra towels and there never were any for our stay. The AC barely worked and the room was humid and hot the entirety of our stay. We were very disappointed. We understood this was a bargain hunt hotel but for almost $270/night I expected a clean room, a working AC, and a room that wasn’t so run down and had extra towels.

Overall this hotel has just gone downhill and is in need of a lot of maintenance. Our room was extremely humid and musty smelling, and even when we cranked on the A/C, it didn’t help. We’d stayed at this hotel pre-covid, and we had no complaints at that time. Now the entire building seems to be falling into disrepair, even the balconies look like they’re starting to fall. Will not be staying here again, which is sad because it’s very conveniently located.

The staff was great. Anytime we needed something they were there to help. We did run into 1 issue the first night, but the lady at the desk was able to fix it for us. There were restaurants within walking distance of the hotel which was nice.

The safety, cleanliness, and comfort was top notch. I also loved that the located was close to the beach and the fact that they offered breakfast The staff wasn't very friendly

The only thing I liked was that the hotel was so close to King Street grill. The room smelled like mildew. Probably due to the old carpet that I'm sure gets wet often from people coming in from the pool. The couch was torn up in multiple spots. Everything felt kinda sticky. Staff wasn't friendly and everyone genuinely seemed like their job made them hate life.

The positives: - Good access to restaurants, grocery stores and Target. - Staff was friendly and helpful - Breakfast was solid (cereal, waffles, eggs, juice, muffins, etc.) - Pool is on the smallish size but good for kids (deepest end is 5ft) - Short drive to Isle of Palms if you want to go to the beach. - Pro tip: Kings Street Grille right next door has half-off burgers on Wednesdays. A few smaller issues: - There was definitely an air of marijuana in the parking lot and a some inside the hotel as well. - I'm not sure if it was just me but the door locks are not easy to use. You scan your card, the light turns green, you turn the handle but it doesn't open. It was common to try 3-4 times before getting it.

Very good place to stay. Very close to the Isle of Palms Beach and right in the middle of some very good local restaurants. The staff was very helpful and polite, room was very clean and surprisingly large also.

Location was nice, close to shopping and places to eat. Needed major updating. Weeds all over the grounds. Cockroach visitors, which literally grossed me out. Upon checking in front staff was not too friendly. Breakfast I just had yogurt, didn’t want to touch the food.

Honestly, location only and friendly staff. Beds uncomfortable, sheets were scratchy not soft. Very outdated, torn carpets, mildew in bathrooms, unrepaired holes, an odor throughout the hotel that smelled of Marijuana from the moment you walked in. Amenities limited and sparce. Way over priced for a motel-like feel. We needed a last minute hotel due to our local home renovation. Frankly, I'm shocked this low quality of a hotel was even an option right off the IOP connector.
