The room was gorgeous and the location was amazing. All of the staff were incredibly helpful.

Check in was easy and Winn helped us book a second room last minute which we’re grateful for. Incentra is a wonderful old New York experience!

Everything was nice
-
Great location, reasonable rate.
-
i have reached out several times, through email and expedia, to determine why i was charged an extra fee - i have not received a reply and would really appreciate an explanation

When we got there , was not nice looking on the inside. Stairs were unsafe. Went to check in, room was not ready. So we wanted to just cancel and they insisted that we would be charged the full price of the room even though the room was not ready. We stood there waiting over 45mins before we decided to cancel. Will not be coming again.

Great location and value.

We really liked to be in an old property with a lot of charm … it makes our stay so authentic and different … in love !

Location made it worth the other issues

The place is old and worn. The one person I met in the check in was very nice and helpful. The extra $50.00 fee on top of the room rate and taxes was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

We like being in the West Village - the location is excellent. But for the price, they could put more into the upkeep of the room. Shower head had a feeble spray from hard water deposits - clean it! (we mentioned it but it was never addressed.) Smoke detector was on the shelf with the batteries removed (to quiet the low battery chirping) when we checked in and wasn't addressed until we pointed it out. The furniture in the room are peiod pieces that go with the age of the room but they are in poor condition. We would have liked to see the floor swept/vacuumed more frequently. Cleaning staff were pleasant.

The room was also quite dirty with old furniture that wasn't in great shape. The TV had no cable - just the free Roku 'channels' so I couldn't watch CNN or the MLB playoffs that were on broadcast. The room wasn't as small as many NYC hotels but I don't plan on staying again unless they do some work.

Great room. Spacious, for Manhattan. Right in the heart of West Village. Close to so many great things to do.
-
The location in Greenwich Village is really great and helpful. The food options are nice around the area. The staff was really nice and I love the house. It's a bit quirky, but in an old house good way. I would definitely stay here again.
-
Our stay was phenomenal and I can't say enough about Vincent and Nguyen. They went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. The location cannot be beat, in the middle of Greenwich village with a subway station nearby surrounded by restaurants and parks. Highly recommended is to visit the Whitney museum, which is an easy walk from the hotel- be sure to go on Friday night when it's free from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.

I lived in the West Village for many years and came back to live like a New Yorker in my favorite part of Manhattan. The Incentra was perfect! It is a more independent type place, so you won't get concierge service, but everyone was pleasant and helpful. We needed the kitchenette to accommodate our diets and though small, it suited our needs. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone. We absolutely plan to stay again whenever I need a NYC fix.

Excellent location and large and cozy room

The location was perfect for a family visit to the city. Quiet at night, very convenient to subway and restaurants. The hotel is an unconventional adaptation of an older building. More like apartment style suite. Comfortable accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. We were provided entry a code to enter.
-
Staff was accommodating and very friendly! They made us feel welcome and went to great lengths to ensure we had what we needed.
-
Unique experience. Great neighborhood. Wonderful staff. Definitely not the big modern hotel experience - and that’s what is great about it!
