Was a good stay. The room was clean and there were things to do by waking. The weather was beautiful so we got to enjoy that.
-
Pool was closed and 1 out of 2 elevators did not work properly.

Property was great and easy access to the conference I attended at Gaylord Parking should be free for guests

Clean and pleasant atmosphere

I loved the cleanliness and how well located we were. I booked this vacation for my daughter who is turning seven. Due to the rainy and cold forecast I knew there wouldn’t be much outdoor activities for us to enjoy, but my daughter loves the pool so her heart was set on going to the pool. Unfortunately, the pool was closed with no prior warning to guest. Though this is a good location I would’ve picked a different hotel if I knew the pool wasn’t working. It really hurt my daughter’s feelings because she was so excited and pretty much set our vacation around her enjoying the pool. The pool looked in good condition so not sure what the issue was , but we were highly disappointed. Also, during my stay housekeeping never came to grab trash, bring extra towels or sheets. I also had a small plumbing issue and instead of maintenance fixing the issue they sent a man with a plunger in a plastic bag. I really couldn’t believe it .

I have no complaints- this place was fine. The room was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was decent- pretty much a standard free hotel breakfast. The fitness room was adequate- it was pretty small, but it had free weights and several nice cardio machines. The swimming pool was closed when I stayed here, unfortunately. The guy at the front desk when I checked in was not the most cordial hotel employee I've ever interacted with, but maybe other staff members are nicer.

Good

The staff was wonderful, location is excellent for National Harbor night life and restaurants, and the area was clean and felt safe.

I liked everything about it except: 1. there was no hand sanitizer in the food area. Guests just walked up (some in pajamas) & began lifting lids & helping themselves to the food. 2. The meat offerings were only pork. Having turkey or chicken sausage as an option would have been nice. see above.

I like the location at the National Harbor. I had planned my son’s birthday in the National Harbor and had planned it around this hotel because it had suites and a pool. Once we checked in, went to dinner and got back and changed into swimming clothes, that’s when we found out the pool is closed for several months for maintenance. So I spent $800 to stay here for the pool to find out 3 hours in that there was no pool. I would have picked any other place. I didn’t know when I booked it. Even check the pool hours. No one told me at check in. Very annoying. Then the staff was less than apologetic. Told me “well it’s on the website”. But was in when I booked it two months ago? Was it on Booking.com where I booked the rooms? I will know to check for next time, I guess.

The ac no work

The employees were nice. It was also easy to get to from the convention center. The breakfast meat was undercooked. The shower water had no pressure and I had to keep turning it off and on just to be able to get the soap off of my body. The room was not well cleaned, and I had to clean it before unpacking my clothes. The area was filled with degenerates and drug addicts. (we actually saw what it looked like a prostitute and her john exiting the building after a tryst) The Carpet on the seventh floor smelled disgusting.
