Very nice, clean property. My room was very large and comfortable, about the size of an efficiency apartment. Quiet.

We had to change some travel plans last minute and I chose Hampton because it has always been reliably comfortable, clean, friendly and convenient.

The interior was freshened up, and the room seemed to have undergone a remodel, but they must have run out of money because they had removed the desk and not replaced it, and only one light over the bed was new not both. In fairness I've stay at this property many times over the last 14 years and have always been satisfied so these are more observations and not complaints.

Overall this was a good hotel but we had a "bad" room as it was located directly above the entrance and the automatic sliding door was noisy and disruptive throughout the night. Hotel staff and Hotels.com were very receptive to the issue and resolved the issue satisfactorily.

In particular- even with some recent updates the heating and a/c are awful. Out of date- even though they tried to update it. Our room was 56 degrees and the a/c was on and terribly loud. It took over two hours to get the temp up to 71 degrees when we adjusted to the heat setting. The unit has no ability to adjust the air flow so it blows loudly until it reaches the desired temperature. Two hours is totally not conducive to rest and relaxation. This is our major disappointment. However, as a dog owner, the area in the parking lot to potty your pet is filthy. Beyond that, the grass is full of divets and very uneven. It is not pleasant for guests to walk their pets on at all. It should be leveled out, resodded, regularly mowed and weeded- just like the front of the hotel grass... and ofcourse-kept clean of trash.
