Excellent stay. Highly recommend for a short of extended stay

Well located, comfortable and great service. What else could you ask for?

I nice hotel situated overlooking sort of the ocean, it overlooks a busy marina so not quite the beach vibes I was expecting but still very nice. The pool is off to the side of the property and while I was there several times kids were hopping the fence to sneak into the pool, although they don't quite get what sneaking is as they were rowdy and I had to call security several times which also ruined my time. Also was trying to enjoy the lounge fireplace and unwind at night but at 10pm they shut off the fireplace for some unknown reason? Anyway I wouldn't recco this hotel if you are actually looking for a place to relax. I was there for work so it didn't bother me but if I were paying $400/night for a vacation, well lets just say there are plenty of other hotels that offer better. The pool security issue is a concern, the lounge has a coffee bar that closes at 11am and after that you have nothing, which is lame. The restaurant across the street is nice but the self serve bar in the lounge is a basically like a boozy 7-eleven slurpee machine and doesn't scream vacation vibes.

Clean facilities and helpful staff!
-
Nice location on the water, but pricey for the room sizes.
-
very clean

The staff members were really nice & accommodating. If it were for the staff alone, we would stay here again. Due to all the other things, we will not.

Thx, Mike and Bev

no toilet paper holder (roll on flush tank), no towel bar, no bar soap, no bathrobe, no chair for reading, no light for reading in bed $7 in room, 375mi water in room...elkay water filter in lobby.. the only be efit from the "resort fee"...I'm not price sensitive, but why do they charge so much per day per person for a phony resort fee? why not just charge for the room?

The pool was terrible. It looks like it has not been upkept since 1970. Literally old pool deck, rusted grates, and very small pool. There were no towels and it really really needs an overhall for the hotel to be charging as much. Even the pool chairs should be updated. Thank goodness the beach close and harbor and pier were the highlights.

Great food at the Baleen, clean and comfortable room, upscale, walking distance to great tourist attractions. Will return and highly recommend

Beautiful property and staff is so nice!

I highly recommend paying a little more for the water view rooms. We enjoyed the seal lions and boats. The boat side is ok, but is mostly a view of the power plant. There is no direct beach access and it is a bit of a walk. If you are up for it, you have Redondo Beach 15 minutes walk south and Hermosa a 15 minute walk north, making it a great location for exploring. Would definitely stay again.

Staff was the best - from early check in to replacing a non-working hair dryer within minutes and bringing extra coffee pods within a minute of requesting. Staff is the top commodity here

Amazing staff/hotel/restaurant. 10/10, will be returning

Always a pleasure staying here!

I stayed here for the first time for Beachlife and it is a wonderful location for it and the area overall…and the restaurant across the parking lot is a good breakfast spot, great view l, on the water, but do not get a marina view because you’re really looking at a parking lot.

Great place and awesome staff all so friendly from valet to housekeeping. Only issue was accessing internet but got help and all was good. Other small issue is only one small elevator but its only 3 stories high so no big deal. Great resteraunt and neat little bar and coffee place inside.

Got lucky upgrade to ocean view suite, fantastic for watching sunset. Complimentary breakfast was great too. Staff was so helpful. Will definitely stay here next time back in town.
