Beautiful place in a perfect location, close to everything. The owners were very friendly and we loved that they had a generous free breakfast for guests outside on the patio. N/A

This hotel is an oasis of calm and beauty in the city. Its location is wonderful- walking distance to the sea, old city, the aquarium and the harbor. A wonderful find!

Wonderful local couple running the property, very social and kind. Great location in Rhodes in a unique and exceptional building. The cleanliness was of the highest calibre and I am very particular about cleaning. Housekeeping every day, fresh breakfast every morning, and an easy walk everywhere you need to go. One of the most authentic places in Rhodes in my opinion, and if I come back I will certainly stay again. Great value for money too. Nothing not to like except that because it’s an older property you might get some internal noise from other guest movements. Not a problem though, bring earplugs if you’re sensitive. The rooms are quite simple so don’t expect anything luxury, but it’s exactly what is needed.

Wonderful breakfast. Great variety and lots of fresh vegetarian food. Very kind and accommodating host and hostess. Nothing!!

Very good location. Hosts are always present serving breakfast, cleaning room, tending bar. Room is clean. Refrigerator is a plus. Our room did not have television but that didn't matter to us. Parking is on local streets. We got lucky and found parking when needed but be prepared to drive around the block. Lots of one way streets in the area doesn't make it any easier.

Fantastic for an authentic experience of the small hotel where the owners go the extra mile and leave you satisfied with anything you might need plus the standards meaning breakfast and cleanliness. I wont think twice coming back!

When we missed booking accommodation for a night when we needed to cut short our holiday, the host found us somewhere else to stay.

This is an oasis of tranquility in a busy city. Only steps from shopping, the beach, and nightlife, the Anastasia nonetheless cocoons guests in a handsome, noble villa still surrounded by enough greenery to feel a world apart. Decor is simple but appropriate, and the overall effect is almost like a house in the country even though it is right in the middle of everything happening in the modern city, while the old town is about ten minutes pleasant walk away. The staff is personable and ready to take specific care of each guest. The orange juice tasted artificial, but the other breakfast choices were good.

My room was clean (though ugly), and the shower worked well. I stayed at hotel Anastasia for 8 nights in late April '25. I was hugely disappointed in the hospitality of the proprietors as well as the look of my room. I booked because of outstanding reviews of the friendliness and hospitality of the proprietors, but they were nothing like that toward me. I never felt welcome there right from the moment of my walking in. The breakfast was also a disappointment, because it was not a buffet and the proprietors were obviously trying to keep the cost down. They were serving cheap stuff, such as cereal, pastry, yogurt and just one hardboiled egg, and were VERY stingy with cheese. However, other guests seemed to be satisfied. When I travel I want a substantial breakfast: 2-3 eggs, good quality whole grain bread with about 6 slices of cheese. They could not handle that. My parting sandwiches had just 2 slices apiece. I needed electric kettle for afternoon tea, but was not offered one until late in my stay when I made a suggestion to Mihalis that it would be very helpful to have it available in the common room for all the guests. My impression of the proprietor couple, Mihalis and Stefania, is that they have done this for just too long and are tired of it. On the subject of their cats: Being a cat lover myself, I was disturbed to find out that the cats are not allowed in the house. They only get food and nothing else. They do not have so much as a pillow to rest on and no shelter whatsoever to live in. There is plenty of room in the yard where a person caring for the comfort of their cats would make a condominium to keep them warm and dry and comfy. These people do not love their cats - they do the bare minimum. Very much as I experienced in their attitude toward their guests.

Anther great stay in Hotel Anastasia. Quiet, comfortable and a fabulous fresh and varied breakfast in the pretty garden. A warm welcome from the hosts. This has got to be one of the nicest places to stay in Rhodes town.
