Quality Inn Tanglewood

Refrigerator had water and mold in it. Bathroom sink would not drain. Just a bad smell and unclean room. Never again

Breakfast was very good. Place was quiet. Easy parking close to room. No complaints!

Nothing. Room smelled funny. Furniture worn and faded. Mattress hard as a brick. Pictures on line did not match room at all. Very disappointed. Left after 2 hrs.

Well kept clean facilities. Central location. The only possible drawback is. There is not an elevator to the second floor.

Please consider Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn.

The room was clean, but my towels were stained. The beds and covers were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple. The only thing I didn't like was they had a sign saying that they would charge you 10.00 if you took food to your room. Who doesn't get their breakfast and go to their room when they have children?

She also helped me with loading and unloading.

Clean, comfortable, and our room in the back was quiet, which was a surprise, given the location. Our first time in Roanoke, so driving around was not easy, although GPS helped us find the place.

Coffee that didn't taste

Every thing was about empty when we got there about 9 AM for breakfast. I ate a yogurt and my husband made a waffle for himself. All the eggs and bread were gone. No one was monitoring the kitchen. All the furnishings were old and looked terrible. The couch was so old and dirty looking I did not want to sit on it. Even the wooden furniture had been beaten up and did not look inviting enough to use. Even the coffee pot in the room looked ancient and looked dirty and had a bug in it. The window was so dirty you could barely look out.

No much. I’m 74 my partner is 73 and we were one of the first people there. They made us climb stairs with our luggage. The bed was fine but the little love seat was filthy. I wouldn’t even place my suitcase on it. It was stained and sticky from humidity. See above

The room they gave me

You can get a king size room (301 sq. ft.) for a decent price. This isn't the staff's fault, but whoever was in there before us was definitely smoking some mary jane in there and it had permeated into some of the things in the room.

Cute little place. I didn’t need anything fancy. Just a good nights sleep. I absolutely LOVED the pillows. The free breakfast was great. Had a couple little waffles, sausage patties, yogurt and some coffee. The coffee was good. It was all good. They also had some other options, cereal, eggs, fruits and other juices. The lady at the desk was Very nice. The only thing I didn’t like was the lights outside the door. They stay on all Night. I like a dark room but it didn’t bother me once I fell asleep ? the windows have black out curtains so You could only see a little light at the bottom.

Close to downtown The staff was rude. The room had mold in the bathroom. The pillows smelled like sweat. There was damage to some parts of the room. I still haven’t gotten my deposit back. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more for a better hotel.

No problems at all. Stay here on a weekly basis.
