Really close to everything you want to see in a very walkable city. Blocks to the Capital, restaurants, and once you figure out the bus system, it's breeze to get to Fort Sutter and old town. What really would have helped was local info on happenings that were planned and free. Example: 2nd night we stopped at front desk and mentioned we liked live music...oh, they said, that's great! Last night was first Thursday (or what ever) and they have local bands and fireworks outdoors right down the street. We stopped into Fort Sutter and they had live demonstrations plus 2 museums for one that Saturday so we came back the next day. We stumbled into a Farmers Market by chance that was probably the nicest I've ever been to 4 blocks from the hotel, no mention of it when we left for our morning walk...and so forth. Seems like owner owned small hotels maybe need a little package of free things to do to hand out when people check in to explore their local area without a car (bus schedule? weekly events? street map?). Continental breakfast - well hot coffee was plentiful and prepackaged muffins, nothing fancy but adequate and no computer center to get email or print tickets. We would go back.

Good location but sketchy folks hanging around the parking lot. Just a basic old room
-
No trash around perfect location for what we needed will definitely stay again Nothing

Bathroom was not very clean. Hair stuck to shower walls and the floor turned our socks black.
-
I didn’t take a shower due to how gross the place was. paint peeling off the bathroom ceiling. doors sticky to touch.
-
There was no way to secure the windows on the first floor room. There were many vagrant types of people in the neighborhood. Do not recommend
-
No late checkout available.
-
It’s an old motor court, but they’ve updated it a bit. Nothing fancy, but the room was clean.
-
comfortable bedding could have been a little cleaner

DISGUSTING! Black Mold in the ceiling of the bathroom! I mentioned it to the front desk! they said oh ok I will let maintenance know. Place looks as if they haven't cleaned it on years

We walked into the room, and it smelled horrible. Opened the fridge and it smelled horrible and had water all over inside, It seemed like the room had not been used or completely cleaned for a bit. It had already used soap inside at the sink. The beds were so uncomfortable, so we tossed and turned all night. The next day their breakfast was not ready until 7am. It was horrible coffee with we felt spoiled creamer 2 pieces of fruit for a three story motel, a little bit of pastries.

It was convenient from the Amtrak station. There were places to go nearby. I was told I would get ground floor but got 2nd floor.
-
The bathroom floor needs to be leveled
-
The room was clean The stairways smelled like urine, it was incredibly loud, and the free breakfast was bare bones at best.
-
Has the essentials and is clean
-
It was pretty quiet, room was ok but I felt the need to clorox wipe it down. The price was right and was walking distance to the convention center.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel, with nothing to complain about. I especially loved how conveniently close it was to downtown Sacramento. Honestly, I liked everything about my stay. The Econo Lodge provided a wonderful experience, and I was genuinely happy with it. I’m already planning to return soon.
