The Midtowner Hotel, SureStay Collection by Best Western

When we got there outside was bad with homeless people around.Sunday 21st we came back from dinner there was a lady of the night out side.came and asked if we want company.we made a reservation for a handicap room with walk in shower and king size bed the clerk told my wife we didn’t have one and there is handicap available wasn’t available. Hotel should tell you that they only have one handicap king size bed with walk in shower. When we where leaving my wife found a cockroach in her bed.health inspector should come and check the hotel room out I wil never book a room from this hotel and best western hotel. Anyone want to stay in this hotel I wouldn’t recommend it

Good and convenient

Horrible place, rooms are nasty, wall cracked, paint falling off, leaks under the sink, showers barely have hot water. They made me wait for more than an hour to check-in with excuses of terminal not working. They wanted cash. Either way noisy dangerous place, like crack heads breaking bottles, people fighting, homelessness. Don't stay if you have more money, if only choice then is ok, but don't leave valuables in room, and lock the door at night with the metal thing.

The only other thing was the breakfast was a little scarce.

Disgustingly filthy. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Light fixtures were broken and just hanging. Remote control for the TV was dilapidated. WALLS WERE BEYOND FILTHY. Luckily we needed only one night. I CANNOT believe Best Western has their name attached to this motel.

We enjoyed our stay! Rooms were spacious enough. Would recommend.

The hotel room door would not lock. Person came and showed us all we have to do is pull up on the door knob. Safety latch on door was broken. Did not seem safe at all. Room was not clean. Toilet did not want to flush. Terrible would not recommend

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, quite a large size refrigerator.

Was not quite what I expected. Bathroom a bit dirty with some hair and some dead bugs.

The owners are amazing. Very helpful in every way

Breakfast had the basics, cereal, toast, coffee, juice. Enough to get the day started

I will stay here again when I need a room in Midtown.

A perfectly adequate place to stay for a night in downtown Sacramento. I appreciated that the hotel uses lots of security cameras to monitor the parking lot.

Pool unavailable and no microwave in our room as advertised on amenities shower was out of all products body wash etc.

Customer service is shocking. One person does everything to save costs.

The a/c in the room stopped working in the middle of the night. The tv froze on one channel. There was a family with small children that were allowed to run around the property and make noise at 6am.

No pool!!! Didn't say until arrival
