We’ve stayed at the Hampton in the past and loved the property! This time we were sadden by how poorly the property has been kept up! We were given two separate rooms both dirty, smelled very musty and furniture beat up! Found wads of hair, blood/feces caked on the wall and again the smell! Such a bummer because on the outside looking in, it looks like a great property! Better housekeeping practices and updated furniture is needed!

The room was fine. The staff person who checked me in was curt and unhelpful, and I didn’t appreciate the surprise $28 parking fee. One primary reason I typically choose to stay in Hotel Circle is that they let you park your damn car.

Great breakfast- love staying at this hotel - great staff- centrally located

Property was nice. A lot of homeless around the area. For some odd reason we had a lot of gnats in our room. It was a bit bothersome. But we didn’t spend much time in the room thru out the day. Overall it was a good stay.

Experience would have been better if the rooms didn't smell like they had pets and throughout the room I kept on finding cockroaches.
-

Breakfast is a pleasant experience with good food and great customer service. Shout out to Omar for keeping the place clean orderly and food flowing all the time.

Easy access to San Diego Zoo and the beautiful Mission Beach . The rooms are small , no sofa lounging area. Furniture a bit worn but the beds were comfortable enough. Loved the free parking . There is a $150 deposit required per room which is not listed in the hotel payment description, however.

The lady's that helped me check in was great Yalonda was very rude and judgemental
-
Breakfast menu was fresh and had healthy options to choose from. Room was clean. Someone at the front desk was not always available and at times it would be a bit of wait before anyone returned to offer help or pay for items taken from the snack "store"
-
No restaurants near the hotel, staff didn’t know of restaurants or a place to get food.

From the moment I arrived, I never felt comfortable or safe. Throughout my stay, I often felt as though I was being followed around the property, which created an unsettling and uncomfortable atmosphere. As a result, I ended up checking out earlier than planned. The cleanliness of the room was also concerning. The sheets had an unpleasant odor, and I found hair in the bedding, making me question whether the linens had been properly changed and sanitized before my arrival. Overall, the room did not appear as clean as expected. The breakfast options were extremely limited, with very little variety available from day to day. For guests staying multiple nights, this quickly became frustrating and repetitive. To make matters worse, the parking fees were excessively expensive and added significant additional costs to an already disappointing stay. Between the cleanliness concerns, lack of food options, high parking costs, and overall feeling of being unsafe, this was one of the most uncomfortable hotel experiences I have had. I would not stay here again.
