Beautiful historic house to stay in. Staff were warm and friendly and breakfast is special. I had an outside basement room which I think is one of the cheaper ones, but I still liked it very much. Hope to return one day.

The Bellwether property and staff are amazing. They truly make you feel at home in a beautiful setting in Savannah. The location is excellent, so close to Forsyth park and the downtown area, but away from too many crowds to make it peaceful and enjoyable. Paul, Matt and Scarlett were excellent hosts. Breakfast was outstanding with so many options. We also loved the Tea Time snacks and Champagne toast. I would definitely stay there again!

Accessible friendly staff with attention to detail; ensuring that we had a comfortable relaxing stay. Wonderful breakfast included each day; fresh, intentional and culinarily bespoke. Truly a visual treat. The location was perfect, just a couple steps away from Forsyth Park, situated on a charming tree lined street-a plus during the warmer weather. We enjoyed the wonderful front porch, it was the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a cappuccino/cocktail and reflect on that day’s adventures. This historic home is tastefully decorated and well maintained. If you’re looking to submerge yourself into true low country southern culture and slow down, this beautifully maintained home is the perfect place. Skip the (all look the same) chain hotel filled with tourists, that lacks historical flair and take a step back in time and book a stay at this historical beauty.

The breakfast is delicious. Treats offered during teatime are also great. Only downside is that our room didn’t have dressers so we couldn’t unpack during our stay. We will definitely come again.

The staff was wonderful and provided great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. This was our first experience staying at a bed and breakfast, and we truly enjoyed it. The accommodations were comfortable, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Beautiful home and location. Just steps away from the hustle and bustle of the tourism, but right in the heart of history and everything we expected from Savannah.

One moment that will stay with me was when I asked the manager for a small accommodation and was told, "This is your home this week." Those simple words truly resonated with me and perfectly reflected the level of hospitality I experienced throughout my stay. It's rare to find a place where you feel so genuinely cared for. Thank you to the entire Bellwether team for making my visit such a comfortable and memorable one. I look forward to returning. My favorite place to stay, Janet Tipton

Everything was spectacular!! We were impressed and delighted. And we have plenty of experience with hotels - as we've stayed at dozens over the past six months, all around the world. This one stood out--the authentic thoughtfulness of the staff, outstanding breakfast spread, offers of high tea with scones, champagne, inviting porch and sitting areas, spacious room with huge windows, attractive decor--A+ on all. Bravo. Well done. Thank you. We loved staying with you.

Loved our stay!

This is NOT a 5 star hotel for those who have stayed in one before. When I brought up our experience to the manager, he said “Well, we are not a self professed 5 star hotel”. Fair enough. We booked a “garden suite” at this supposed 5 star property, and we were put in a basement bedroom with 200 yr old brick floors that your socks catch on… It was dirty with remnants from the previous occupants in there. We had blood on our duvet, but they changed our duvet when we asked. When we came back later after dinner we found a large hair obviously from the employee who kindly changed the dirty bed. Just a bad experience, I have little doubt another one of the many properties in the area would have been a superior experience, and costed less too. Very disappointing stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! Perfect location, wonderful property.

The breakfast and all the other amenities were great. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. The location made it very easy to walk to the various squares and scenic areas.

The breakfast was not consistent, but there was a wide variety. I think for being a Michelin star it should’ve had homemade pastries not store-bought. I also feel like it should’ve had a small microwave in the room and makeup wipes or makeup towel or something to clean your face with. The bedding was amazing Mattress a bit soft for our taste, but that’s a hard one to get right.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Bellweather. Super charming and clean with nice amenities and the largest porch in Savannah. They have afternoon tea at 4 PM and champagne every day at 6 PM. My only suggestion is that some of the staff could be more proactive with guest engagement. Especially if a guest is traveling solo.

The Bellwether is located on a wonderful street. We enjoyed the location. I wish we would have known the room we booked was upstairs with no elevator. I would have requested a downstairs unit. The room was very nice and the morning breakfast was good. We arrived during the afternoon tea but were not offered any. We were told be missed it yet people were still sitting there enjoying it. We had to ask for help with bags as it was not offered and the person at the desk didn't seem enthusiastic to help. In the end, we hauled up our bags ourself. In the evening we had drinks at the bar, and the young lady working the bar was wonderful and cheery. We talked with her for 30 minutes or so and really enjoyed her company and drinks. They did hold our bags so that was very helpful. Overall, this is a pretty cool place to stay if you want to experience a night in a historic home. Very cozy and quiet.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here. The elevated breakfast was delicious every morning. It was a beautiful presentation every day. The staff were all so friendly and attentive. We felt very relaxed during our stay. Sipping coffee on the front porch, enjoying champagne on the back patio added to our experience. We truly felt the Southern hospitality here. The tree lined street in the beautiful neighborhood was the perfect location for us. We were close enough to walk to everything but far enough away to enjoy the calm and quiet. The afternoon tea was a lovely bonus. I highly recommend staying here if you want a true Bed and Breakfast experience with a lot of attention to details. I definitely will stay here again.

The room I paid for was not the that was given to me. They did credit my account, still waiting to see the credit appear. However, they should have moved me into that room or given me another time to stay in that room. They tried to make it a big deal that I had the largest bathroom in the place but that was not what I was looking to get out of staying at bed and breakfast. Then I find out I had to pay additional money for the breakfast/parking after the stay.
