We experienced fleas in bedding, spoke with front desk. I guess that is what happens when you have pets.

Relaxing overnight stay.

What I liked are the people were nice & they were able to help me out. There was free parking & breakfast. What I didn't like is the paintings were coming off. There could've been more breakfast selections. The bathtub could've been a bigger tub & the water could've been hotter.

Quiet and clean

The room was clean. The breakfast was OK, but there was no AC in the building except in the rooms so anytime you stepped out of your room. It was so hot.

Overall the stay was fine. There is not adequate parking at this location. On one of our nights of stay we had to park 2 hotels away due to no parking. I was told it fine because they own that location as well. It seems there was an overflow from the hotel directly across from our stay. There were trucks hauling trailers and took up 10 parking spots. It was an inconvenience and also having my vehicle parked at another property was not a safe option. The daytime staff was exceptional nice. The overnight staff was less than pleasant. There was space to park at the drive thru location in the front of the lobby. We were not allowed to park there.

The Spark hotel was an excellent budget friendly hotel.

I have no issue with the property just hotels.com. My experience with your company was horrible. It was not clear during making a reservation that I needed to choose pay now to use gift cards. Then when I spoke to someone they told me I could use all my gift cards on the sight to rebook when we changed it and would not help me rebook on the phone. I was only able to use one gift card and have 3 others that I want applied to this stay. I expect a phone call to help with this process so that I can get the refund I am deserving of with having the multiple gift cards to use. If not, I will be calling on Monday to file my official complaint and insist help with this process.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. I want to give big shoutout and thanks to Reneta(sp), for her assistance, her great personality, and her friendly conversations. She’s an asset to Sparks.

The biggest issue was the air conditioning system. If you can sleep through any level of noise, this may not bother you, but for us it made the stay very uncomfortable. Each room has a standard window AC unit, ours was extremely loud—louder than the refrigerator located directly across from the bed. Whenever the AC turned on, the walls would vibrate, and the vibration could be felt while lying in bed. We could also hear and feel the air conditioners turning on in neighboring rooms, as the noise and vibration traveled through the building. The breakfast was also very disappointing. We have stayed in many hotels of this type, but this was by far the poorest breakfast selection we have encountered. There were only a few types of stale pastries that could be toasted, cereal with milk, and scrambled eggs. The quality and variety were far below expectations. Cleanliness was inconsistent. The towels were replaced daily, which we appreciated, but the toilet was not properly cleaned during our stay. In addition, water drained very slowly in the shower and would pool while showering. We frequently stay in budget and mid-range hotels, so our expectations were realistic. However, this was one of the worst experiences we have had in this category. Unfortunately, we would not choose to stay here again, even for a short visit.

The check-in experience was good. The room was spacious and comfortable. I love that they are pet friendly. The breakfast was good. They had enough options to get you through the morning. The hotel is a bit aways from downtown but it actually isn't bad if you don't want to spend multiple days in the downtown area. This was a decent stay. The hotel itself was good.

Was not happy with this hotel. The room was fine, but the hotel looked dirty and needs maintenance. Ice Machine on 3rd floor was not working. Next day (after I checked out) I received a call from a rude hotel manager accusing me of leaving blood stains on the hotel sheets. After pushing back and telling him there was NO WAY I did that.. he then told me he dialed the wrong number and hung up on me. No apologies... he just hung up. Will definitely not stay here again.

Staff was very nice. Room.was very clean! It was affordable and convenient. Not much for breakfast..I also had someone banging at my door 5 mins b4 checkout. I would for sure stay again.

An excellent place to spend an overnight while traveling. The breakfast was nice and plenty of options. Parking was easy. Bathroom was clean. The bare floor was my only nit as it was a little echoing whenever I coughed (battling a cold).

Not much to say, just stayed one night, very average .

They have great toilets and bathrooms but the cleaners need to clean it well. You can see that they did the bare minimum. The hotel was great ,perfect for 1 night not longer.

New to this Spark brand. Very impressed w/ remodel and will definitely stay here on next drive to Fla. There were no negatives!

Good Size room Ran out of hot water in shower. Airconditioning hard to control. Fan ran all night, couldn't turn it off.

Clean , Friendly loved the stay !
