Extended Stay America Suites Chicago Schaumburg Conv Center

I have not stayed in this facility due to the rude front desk and manager. I got charged with deposit first without even notice. I was not aware of the deposit until I got charged. The front desk female was rude and directive and unpleasant. Instead of ask me for my name she asked me for ID instead and acted rude like a cop. She has never smile. On top of that manager did not solved the issue with the deposit and did. It refund me back after I left the facility without staying there. The manager has lack of management skills. Instead of helping he was interrupting me while I was filing complain. I will never come back to this facility.

I was raised in this area so your surrounded by everything you need as far as restaurants, stores and the amazing Woodfield mall! Rosemont area isn’t far and the highway is there for easy access to the city of Chicago. The lady at the front desk was really nice and even managed to get me a toothbrush and toothpaste since I forgot mine I’m kinda of picky with the way I sleep so if your expecting the most amazing bed at this property your not going to get that. Room smelled like old cigarettes as well which is kinda difficult because I’m allergic to them…This extended stay is a bit out of date and old but was still clean

The room did not have a hair dryer but we were able to get one from front desk. The tv as not working when we got there but we did get a few channels that night. The bed has some kind of plastic under the sheet ( I guess to protect the mattress) but it was uncomfortable. I will not be staying again.

The staffs told me the security deposit amount is refunded in my account. But they are not telling the truth. It is 10 days already finished but i haven’t got my money.

The manager of extended stay America, Schaumburg name is Mihir who assured us that the security deposit is already refunded. But it is not true. Till now we have not received anything.

So, the last 24 hours I saw 4 roaches, I was itching uncontrollably and unpacked and shook all my belongings twice for fear of taking them with me. I did not sleep last night because I was fearful of them crawling on me. I will never stay here again and do not recommend. I understand people are not all clean but nothing was done for my discomfort or my mental health. My anxiety has me itching right now just thinking about it. I feel I should have been compensated for part of my stay. Roaches are nasty and can become a huge problem if not addressed. I am still fearful that one may have gotten in my luggage. I would hope that the owner would reach out and make good on this situation. Sincerely unhappy guest, Rachel

This one was ok. The area is good just a little dark. I didn't like stands the bed was on . I was also in a corner room so it was hard to see my vehicle.

Bed squeaked, fitted sheets kept coming off, plastic mattress pad terrible noisy, toiletries awful, breakfast nothing to rave about, and room smelled.
