Great location walk to the village

I always enjoy my stay at the Budget Inn, owner/front desk personnel very accommodating and helpful. Very much enjoy the peace and quiet of this establishment, away from So Lake Tahoe Blvd.

Smell in the room. Bed bug

I stayed here while in a hiking trip for Van Sickle Park. The location was a shirt wlk away fron the park entrance making it ideal. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. There is a Mexican restaurant just around the corner but plenty of food options are within walking distance. I ended up extending my stay by an extra day (decided midway through the first day) and the staff made it easy, although this was off season so they had availability. I had an issue with the microwave malfunctioning and beeping during my stay but I was told to just unplug it and that solved the issue. Again the staff was very helpful and easy to work with. The room was quiet, with the exception of some noisy neighbors during their unloading. I will definitely book here again in the future and highly recommend it for the reasonably priced rooms as well as everything else I’ve listed.

Convenient

Location is right behind main street which is perfect to stay close, cleanliness was okay.

Close to all the shop Pillow to small

The wall heater was on and was too warm inside. There was nowhere to turn it off, so we had to leave our windows open and turn the ac on even with the heater on, but other than that, it was great ? ?

The location and TV was good It was old and not upgraded, whoever painted it did a horrible job.

Great, considerate staff, location is ideal and they let you leave your car all day. Very clean, walkable to lots of food options and perfect if you just need a bed so you can ski.

We stayed for three nights and visited Tahoe Blue for a concert. Room was very clean and comfortable but spent very little time in the room. Because there was a lot of rooms and very few people staying it took approxamently ten minutes for hot water to come through the tap. Beds were firm but comfortable. TV was a little strange as far as channel selection but only watched in bed at night.

Ants , stains, just regret not paying more for a better property

I was bitten by bed bugs across the body. The bed sheet have human hairs and blood stains.

Dirty room, dirty bathroom, dirty bedding with holes in it, unfriendly staff, no A/C, overall one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Definitely would not recommend and will not be returning.

Amazing location Room smelled a bit and stains on sheets

We always stay at this motel when we come to South Lake Tahoe and we refer anyone else. It’s not a fancy motel - but it’s affordable, clean, staff friendly, it’s convenient and right in the heart of downtown so you can just walk out your door and walk to the shops, entertainment, casinos and everything! That’s why we opt to stay here rather than anywhere else! It works well The towels were a bit old but they were clean

Access and location were top notch. You get what pay for in amenities. Recommend staying here, just pack your own towels.
