Beautiful property right in the park. My grandson fished steps from the hotel.

Good pool, clean room We stood in line for 30 minutes to check in. Shuttle was very unreliable and unorganized. Restaurant choices lacked variety.

When we arrived, the hot water was out, and we only had lukewarm for the next two days. The restaurant took forever to get an order, then there were no condiments nor sugar for tea and coffee. While we were there, people were stuck on elevators, while staff did nothing. One of our visiting group, a retired firefighter, got the fire department involved to rescue those trapped. I had stayed there once before, several years ago, and they lost power to elevators. Moved out of upper rooms with no light at midnight in our formals and heels after our event. Wouldn't recommend this property in spite of its beautiful location!!

The resort rooms were never cleaned, dirty laundry in the halls, air conditioners and refrigerators would cut off randomly. Ruined food and the room was hot. The service was horrible and the prices were ridiculous. The pool was very dirty. The front desk staff was rude and all the staff kept saying it was because they were recently bought out. The resort has potential but has a long way to go.

The disappointment started as soon as I checked in. There were three employees around the desk but none of them willing to help me. One was also cussing on the phone to somebody else on the property. When I finally was helped the person was very rude and it was a bad first impression. The rooms were clean but even with the thermostat set to 65 it was about 80° in the room. It was hard to sleep because we were absolutely miserable and we weren't the only ones. Spoke with numerous people who were on the elevator and they all had the same problem. The hallways were cold but the rooms were hot.

Room was clean but air conditioning didn’t work. Very long walk from parking lot to room. Additional hidden charges to room added at checkin.
-
Freezing cold showers, amenities missing from the rooms, no room phones, only 2 restaurants with the same exact menu. To be as full as it is it was understaffed and someone also got stuck in the elevator for over an hour. Last night there was an entire party next door screaming until 5:30 in the morning and though we called they did nothing about it.

Clean room, beautiful property, excellent staff. Will go back to do more activities in the park. Hidden jem for outdoor lovers.

Would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the park. Friendly, helpful staff and a clean outstanding hotel in a beautiful park setting. Highly recommend!

I booked a room overlooking the lake – everything was fine, but I was told that the TVs in the rooms didn’t have internet access, and there was no one to explain what facilities the hotel did or didn’t have. The restaurant had a very limited menu. They took me to Stone Mountain Park but didn’t pick me up from there, so I had to pay for a Lyft to get back. So, I’d rate the experience 5 out of 10.

Apparently Stone Mountain Park recently has undergone new management, so there has not been enough time to fix some of the issues they are dealing with. The personnel were over-the-top helpful, despite odd things like the 3rd floor button not working in one of the elevators (which was the floor we were staying on so we had to wait for another elevator OR walk the stairs). We saw the big Evergreen Hiking Trail sign yet when we went out to walk the trail, it was inadequately marked or very short (we ended up in a parking lot). However, our room was comfortable and clean, and we were grateful for this.

Only one elevator out of three worked. The pool bar was never open. The bathroom shower door would not stay on the track. Only gave us two towels and when we asked for more took several hours to get them. Smelled weed while on the balcony and in the hallways.
