Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Tallahassee Conference Ctr N by IHG

The entire aesthetic of the hotel was clean and well kept. The staff I interacted with were great for the most part. The room was basic but roomy. However housekeeping needs to do a better job of washing mattress covers on the couch bed. We opened ours to dress it for a nights sleep after a very long drive only to find horrible urine stains and assorted other bodily fluid looking stains. It had not been washed. And if it had it was time to throw it away. Had to call down to report and get another. However the phone in the room was so badly malfunctioning the cord would not even stay plugged into the handset. After I had no luck with that I had to fold the cover within itself to not touch the gross matter on it and walk it down myself to the front desk where I had to wait again for them to ‘find a spare’ and get informed that corporate headquarters doesn’t give them what they need. I don’t need to know all that. I just need to know when I rent a room for the night I don’t have to lie my small grandchildren on someone else’s bodily fluids because someone’s not doing their job. I was finally given a fresh one and was able to get the little ones in bed. In this economy where someone spends their money certainly matters more than usual.

The property offered reasonably priced, fresh breakfast buffet. Be aware that the rates for the rooms are up to four times higher than usual during university graduation period in the area.
