Motel 6 Texas City, TX - I-45 South

Terrible. Purchashed 2 nights paid in full, to only show up at 11pm to be told i don’t have a room.. never received a call or any prior notice. They claimed the 3rd floor flooded. Very Unprofessional. Do not recommend

My reservation was lost. Despite having confirmation on my phone, and the hotel not being near capacity I was told that I would need to pay the current rate (double the rate I booked with). The bathroom had obvious damage to the shower and was out of toilet paper. The bed was uncomfortable and the supplied pillows were very flat. This experience has soured me on all Motel 6 franchises and I plan to avoid them entirely going forward.

The convenience and price was good. Property was clean. The hotel room was clean. The bathroom could need a bit of a paint job but overall clean.

Staff was very attentive. Quiet and rooms were clean.

The A/C worked well. First, we were given a room that hadn't been cleaned yet, so they gave us another room. Next, the second room was not comfortable. The sheets had someone's hair (several long black hairs) between the top sheet and the fitted sheet, the room had been painted but the furniture wasn't reinstalled correctly so there were gaps, our sheets had paint spots on it that were the same color as the wall near the headboard, the sheets also had faded yellow stains, the table was being help up by the small frig under it, but the pictures online showed a tall frig, the shower in the pictures showed a shower seat but there were none in the shower in our room, so overall, not what was shown online. Also, there were no TV channels, so you had to log in to see the local news, and in the morning, it didn't work at all. We will never stay there again.

Easy in and out access The second floor smelled like cumin really bad, staff would rather fraternize on the chairs outside the office rather than work.

The only rooms that have ac on is the rooms. Hall ways, lobby and snack area have no ac and its extremely hot!

Stay at the hotel a night before oir cruise and the place needs attention a lot

Clean and convenient to cruise port. Nothing negative

Clean rooms and clean linens Very low water pressure, taking a shower was challenging with the low pressure, there was a lot of road construction near hotel making access a little difficult, ask for a receipt at checkout and was told book it would provide this! Really weird since I paid in cash!

Location was convenient,modern and up to date.

I was put in a room that said non-smoking, and as soon as I walked in the room, it smelled like smoke all through the night. I can smell someone's smoking next door to and I can hear them talking all night. The towels were really dirty. The bed had stains the night stance were horrible telephone had mold on the buttons. Restroom has mold. Found blade next to the coffee machine. Also, when we left in the morning room, servers didn't even clean the room. All they did was put new towels up. Didn't take the trash out, didn't do the bed horrible experience

Poor room in a bad part of town.

The hotel lost power just on my floor and 3am we had no air, lights , couldn't shower in the dark. Horrible stay

The room was a lot smaller than what in participated and the bad you could feel all the springs in them when you walked in the room you would trip over the chair that's in there I'm very very disappointed

Courteous and helpful staff, as always. Some other guests are misguided. But what can be done about that?

Neat and calm Bed was all but springs !

Not your average motel 6 , Very clean . Modern style hotel . Beds are a lil thin but still comfortable enough to sleep in . Overall a good experience.
