Reviews

The property is very dated, old and not to the standards of what we expected of a Ritz Carlton in a city like Washington DC.

The property itself. The staff, rooms, and food.
-
The room was in decent condition, BUT on Tuesday night from 1:00 AM to 4:00 AM there is constant sounds of garbage transfer going on. Bah Humbug.
-
Amateur service and way to expensive for what it is
-
Staff was amazing! Location was perfect. With our background consulting for forbes 5star hotels, it takes a lot to make us take note. This team was well trained and service oriented.
-
My expectation for a property when you are paying 1k a nite is extremely high. It does not compare to a Four Seasons or other like properties.

We have stayed at this Ritz before (handful of years ago) and I remember liking it so we stayed again. The lobby/lounge area is beautiful but our room was in the far tower by the spa elevator (room # started with ‘E’) and it was beyond dated. I felt like we were in a Hampton in with a nicer bed. So basic and very dated. Not luxurious at all. I hate to even say this because the staff was nice but it was just a somewhat depressing experiencing. We won’t be staying there again. Over priced for what it was and just a let down.

The service is exceptional. Will be returning soon.
-
Excellent but could use a better system for assistance with luggage.
-
Stay was great. Staff very accommodating.

Superb
-
Very helpful and accommodating staff, from guiding us to our room to dealing with our clunky U-Haul without batting an eye to giving us late checkout without a hitch and then extending our stay an extra day because we didn’t want to leave the crackling lobby fire and cozy vibe.

Very good
