The toilet was broken sewer gas was coming from the toilet. The carpet was filthy. The elevator was very noisy needed repair. The refrigerator had a big dent in it, and the cabinet was broken. The staff was very friendly.

Our room was very spacious and clean! The staff is very pleasant and helpful! However, we were told by staff during our stay that this hotel would be closing as of June 1, 2026. I was very sad to hear that because this hotel is close to several areas that we frequent when we visit Winston-Salem as well as friends nearby. This stay was our 2nd and we planned to stay here during our future visits. I hope the staff has good luck in their future endeavors for employment as one lady informed me that she had been there 8 years and loved her position there!

Some remodeling/upgrades would be great. We've had many stays at this location and some things need to be updated.

The check in process was extremly slw with two people working. The line to check in was out the front doors.

Location is very convenient and close to Wake Forrest Campus The bathrooms are very small and the tub was in terrible condition…peeling, no handle bars, very tight..you had to move between the sink and the toilet to open and close the door.

Phone was broken , cable wasn’t working

Stayed for Wake Forest graduation. Thought we could walk to campus. Untrue. Had a huge hot tub in our room. Ew. Couldn’t get any smart channels in the tv. Check in staff was cranky, Definitely not staying here again.

The room was not clean. It looked like someone had just got out the bed. Bed was not made up there was an open water bottle on the stand with plates and bowls. The chair look like it haven’t been clean in months, it was sticky and dirty. I did not stay. They did give me a refund with no problem.

Rooms and common areas are very tired and not very clean. Breakfast lounge is very nice and well run and seemingly clean. Gym is disproportionately nice for the hotel.

Close to where I had an event Unconcerned staff

This place is closing anyway so no point in writing this, but I’ll just say it absolutely needs to close. Terrible place.

The supervisory staff was rude at every turn. No room cleaning was completed even after several requests throughout the day. When we finally asked for towels, the supervisor gave them to us with hate in her eyes. No acknowledgment or apology. Very strange and extremely unpleasant. The room was dark and the floors dirty. The closet door fell off of the broken hinge. On the morning of our son’s graduation, there was no coffee or breakfast ready at 7:45 when we all had to leave. I honestly haven’t stayed in a place this poorly run in several decades.

We got there really late Saturday night and came in just to change and leave, so we didn’t notice the condition of the room. The room hadnt even been cleaned at all before we got there. The sheets were dirty and the pillows had dried bloody boogers and snot on them. When we went to the desk at about 2 in the morning they said they needed to “check if they had any clean sheets”, which was a little alarming. I was so tired that I didn’t even think to take pictures before I stripped the bed and remade it. There were crumbs all over the floor and the bathroom didn’t look like it had been cleaned in at least a couple of stays. The staff was very nice though.

The clerk was nice. The maintenance man is nice. One the website is says that there are coffee makers in each room and microwaves. The first thing we noticed was there was a plastic cover over the smoke detector!!! Hot is a good choice for my husband's. Then to find no microwaves or coffee makers was very disheartening. So I got downstairs to tell her and she said they haven't had those two items in rooms for years.. she said that's on Booking for not updating the information. So with the smoke detector, they say that the previous person put plastic so they didn't have to go outside. We had a house fire a couple of years ago and that's nerve-wracking this. Plus with previous people smoking in the room. We missed out on so many birthday activities for 3 days because I couldn't stop my nose from running and eyes from running. When my tears ran, my skin would burn so it was from weed. It was the worst trip ever. We saw a family very little. Oh yeah, the pea trap under the sink smelled like rotten eggs. I think all of these things need to be fixed asap. We will never stay there again. There wasn't much convenience in the hotel. The chair under the desk was broken and my husband nearly fell out. We've never been this disappointed. They wouldn't let me have a receipt and said it should be from your company. I have been so sick from the allergies that I am finally getting better. Thank you for having this platform for those of us who have issues.
