Embassy Suites by Hilton Alexandria Old Town

Some remodeling going on, but they made the best of it. A large screen for the soccer games, snacks and complimentary adult beverages were a nice touch. Good breakfast, good coffee.

Hotel was located right in front of the metro. Perfect for those wanting to use this type of transportation. Breakfast was good and a lot of options. friendly staff members. The rooms were a bit older, furniture looked old, but overall good. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom was clean. I would recommend it.

The air conditioning in our room did not cool well. There was a lot of construction in the lobby. The evening mingle which included 2 drinks was wonderful. Breakfast was great. The check-in time is 4 P.M. Expedia documents showed 3 P.M. I spoke with the front desk when we arrived and was told to come back at 2. It ended up being 4 when the room was ready. Everyone was very friendly. However, it was not quite the exceptional experience that I am used to when staying at Embassy Suites.

The breakfast was nice and bed comfortable. It was a last minute reservation. The room smelled a little stuffy and we drove a SUV and the parking deck was horrible.

All of the staff were friendly throughout our stay. The room was clean and the fresh, hot breakfast every morning was great.

Nice hotel and location. Breakfast is wonderful. It will be nice when they finish all the construction.

They were renovating so the lobby was a mess, and the fridge in the room wasn’t cooling

Exceptional

The room was ok. The hotel was under renovation, with reception operating in front of a curtain, the pool was not inviting, the furniture im the breakfast area has split seats, and the seats were too low fir the tables. Once the workers started it became very noisy. The parking garage was poorly marked, with super tight spaces

Friendly professional staff and a great breakfast!

No free transport to the airport, different than other hotels. Had to use Uber. Downstairs is a mess.

Everyone in our group loved the breakfast. The proximity to the train station and Metro was perfect. We have zero complaints

The room had an unpleasant smell and the carpet was vaguely damp and sticky. The fold out bed was exceptionally uncomfortable even for a fold out couch as they are usually not the most comfortable; it was impossible to be confortable on this one. The bathroom was nice but a little ramshackle with no good place for the toilet paper holder, it was affixed in a strange location.
