Observations from my recent stop at the Washington Road Red Roof Inn. It should be noted that the staff was friendly, but the overall experience was far from meeting basic expectations. 1. The Management Apathy: It’s clear the management is doing the absolute bare minimum just to keep the lights on. The property feels less like a hotel and more like a collection of rooms being held together by hope and neglect, targeting unsuspecting travelers who just need a quick place to wash up and collapse for an hour or two. 2. Biological Relics: The "semi-updated" room hides a disgusting secret: a used toothbrush wedged behind the shower head base plate. This isn’t a cleaning oversight; it’s a total failure of basic hygiene. If they can’t be bothered to remove DNA from previous guests, don't expect the sink to be scrubbed—because mine certainly wasn't. 3. The Hospitality Hostility: Despite an almost empty parking lot, getting a second room key felt like an imposition. Management seems to have a policy of stinginess, flatly refusing a simple extra pillow even when the hotel was at low occupancy. They aren't interested in your comfort; they just want your credit card on file. 4. Broken Promises & Stale Food: The "breakfast" was a joke. The juice machine was broken, the waffle maker was a decorative prop, and the coffee was watery, decaffeinated swill. If you’re lucky enough to find cereal, expect the Frosted Flakes to be stale. Nothing Everything. Filthy rooms. Smell of human urine by the ice machine that was broke down. A bunch of homeless people just wandering around. People just hanging out through all hours of the night making noise and selling drugs. A pool that was a cesspool.

i didn’t care for anything honestly, I am disappointed with how this situation has been handled. I was informed that my card was ‘frozen’ when I made the payment through Booking.com, which was inaccurate. Additionally, when I requested a refund, I was told that no charge had been processed, despite my bank statement clearly showing that the payment was deducted. I would appreciate clarification on this matter and a prompt resolution regarding my refund.
