The breakfast was great, and the view from the rooftop terrace is phenomenal. The rooms are also very spacious. The pool was very small, and there were major construction works taking place in the square in front of the hotel. Unfortunately, the windows provided very little sound insulation, making it feel as though I was sleeping with the window open.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The views from the room were pleasant and the hotel has a modern aesthetic. For approximately €500 per night, the experience fell well below expectations. The room was relatively small and felt basic for a luxury hotel. The furniture was looking tired and in need of refurbishment. There was no iron, only a steamer, and the hairdryer was a basic foldable travel model. There was no turndown service and no body lotion provided in the bathroom. The rooftop pool was much smaller than expected and is barely larger than a jacuzzi. Service was polite but lacked warmth and attentiveness. The location is also some distance from Barcelona’s main attractions. Overall, it did not feel like a true five-star experience and seemed expensive for what was offered.

Excellent hotel, staff very helpful and very friendly. We received a super recommendation for a local Tapas bar which was authentic and just what we wanted. More sun loungers would have been appreciated
-
The hotel’s cleanliness, including the corridors and rooms, the quality of the gym and swimming pool facilities, and the spaciousness and layout of the rooms. The location is away from the city center
-
The comfort of our room and the staff. The roof top pool was closed due to a party when we arrived. We could never find a place by the pool on the other two days we were there as it was crowded and the area small. Also there wasn’t enough shade. There were no comfortable quiet lounges we could relax in, only our room. We were charged 20 euros more than we expected to pay.
